IMFunders offers loans based on CD backed loans. Their website says no collateral is needed (they will provide it). They are very vague about what will be sent and tell you that your money is to cover the cost of moving a CD from an investors account to your bank. And tell you the money is 100% refundable. It sits in escrow until the transaction is fully executed.

When they send you documents they redefine the money sent as a fee and in more than one place state the CD CANNOT be used as collateral even though they falsely indicate that collateral will be provided on their website.

Also they informed me that nothing additional would need to be paid until after I received my money. When the document came via email, it indicated an additional 5% of the loan value would need to be paid in order to start the process. This was also not disclosed until after they receive your initial payment.

PLUS after they receive your money they will not answer your calls or talk to you at all.

PLUS the documents indicate you will fax a form to World Bankers (it doesn't exists) to start the process. They also have a person in NY who acts like a compliance department for World Bankers. Not so....

They only deal with cell phones and no land lines will reach anyone.

The phone numbers I have are:

305-898-1239 (Tim Mahoney)
I have two other numbers I will publish but don't have them in front of me.

These people will steal your money. Don't deal with them at all....

Attempted Blackmail

AUTHOR: Sound Advise - (Bahamas)

POSTED: Friday, July 17, 2009

A few individuals have attempted to blackmail our company by posting untruths on Rip off reports and other sites. When you figure in the thousands that we have helped a FEW are bound to have some axe to grind for various reasons. Gerber Baby Foods get more complaints on their mashed peas.

IMfunders TRUE RIPOFF

AUTHOR: Slg Enterprises Llc - (U.S.A.)

IMFunders is a total rip off, My company is getting ready to file legal action against them. I have contacted the US Attorney Generals Office as well as the States AG, the Consumer Credit Office, and a law firm. What they have done is committed fraud. If anyone else has had bad dealings with this company and you have got your money back please let me know how you did it. Unfortunately the only way we see to get our money back is to take legal action. It is a shame that people have to go through this and lose the money we work hard for to thief's and con artists! Our law firm is looking into a class action suite. So let us know if you have been a victim of this company.

IMFunders WILL Rip you off....

IMFunders did not and has not funded anyone. Think about this...The company operates out of a virtual office, not a real one. They do not have personal emails only the one they use cd@imfunders.com or info@imfunders.com. They only talk to you via cell phones. The "compliance department" claims to be with world bank and not associated with IMFunders. But World Bank doesn't do any of the stuff they claim and then World Bankers is another claim. This is actually listed on the document they send with an address. There's no such bank at the address they list and they don't give you a phone # only a fax. Any report from anyone like the one I saw here claiming to have been funded is a lie fabricated by IMFunders.

They are most certainly NOT a RIPOFF

I was referred to International Monetary Funders by over 7 individuals who had fantastic service as I did. I could NOT borrow a penny until I contacted them. My $100,000.00 loan then went as smooth as silk as did my many friends. The rip off report mentioned here sounds like SOUR APPLES from someone who LIED to the IMF about their background. Shame on them!!!
