International Paintball Group Scam rip-off product misrepresentation Calgary, Nationwide

I recently purchased some tickets from an IPG representative. During my discussion with the representative, he made it sound as though IPG was a very large chain of paintball facilities, with facilities throughout Calgary and Alberta. With
this in mind I agreed to purchase 48 tickets for my students so that it could be used as a team building event.

When I went to go book, to my disappointment I discovered that there was only one facility in Calgary, and the others were a 40 minute - 1 hour drive away from the city. Furthermore, the Calgary facility is not owned by IPG, they are their own entity, and they will only accept a booking with IPG at times that do not work for my 48 students - such as 9am on a Sunday morning. I suspect this is due to the fact that they would have to pay IPG a commission for the booking, and the facility would make more revenue via direct booking. Had I not purchased my tickets via IPG, I would have been able to book the time I wanted to play.

I sent IPG an email detailing my frustrations and received a phone call saying they will look into the situation, however I have heard nothing from it.

This company misrepresented themselves when they sold me these tickets, they did not inform me that they do not own the facilities, and they were not upfront about the number of facilities they have at their disposal in Calgary, they simply provide
the service of tickets and have no control over when a facility will be willing to accept a booking. They sold me a product without giving me all pertinent information, I was unable to use the product they sold me, and are now avoiding
contact with me.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.
