I have used Lingo (VOIP) for 10 months with poor phone service. Last Friday 09/23/2005 my phone line went dead. Today 09/26/2005 I'm still down. Tech support spoke with poor English and did nothing but tell me my router was set up incorrectly. My router is set up the same way when I was working correctly.

I'm told they will get back to me in 24 hours (great). I still am down.

Still No phone service: Since 9/23/05

Hi, This is now just a joke the way these people work. I have since starting using just my cell phone. I hope some one thinking about VOIP reads this story. If I should ever do anything with a new company I'll make my first phone call to the tech support people. If they put me on hold at all, I'm gone.

09/23/2005. This is so hard to believe that something like this could happen. I received 3 survays from Lingo asking me to rate their service. Needless to say how I responded. I've vented my anger here on ,Rip Off and to a web complaint to the FTC. The FTC did respond. I don't know if any of this will help me. Oh Well.

Tuesday 09/27/2005. I finally got through to a real person at Tech support. After spending two hours with this man, he told me I need a new box. This was just great but I needed someone with more authority to issue the new box. Someone would phone me from level 2 support at 4:00 PM. (Pacific time). As of now, a day later, no phone call and my phone is still not working. 5 days now.
I've never been any more fustrated and mad than I am at this second.
