Intuit Quickbooks Sneaky sales practices. Sells Software that's only good for a year without full disclosure Mountain View California

Every year this pathetic company gets sneakier and sneakier, lower and lower in their business practices designed to rip off the consumer  Last year they began selling a "Plus" version of their Quickbooks Pro software. In the past, a customer would purchase the software, and it would be good as long as they owned it. Then they began cutting off access to online services after 3 years, forcing customers to purchase it again to continue access to online features, and now, with the "Plus" version, they actually shut you out of your own software after a year. Yep, one day, you turn on your computer, go to use your software and find you're locked out because the license expired. Something that is not disclosed to you. You see, they sell the "plus" subscription for the exact same price as the full desktop software.  They market the "Plus" version as including "enhanced support" and Cloud backup, so ANY reasonable consumer would thing the year of service is included.  But no, turns out, SURPRISE, apparently the $200 software is what's included with the service, but ONLY FOR A YEAR!

What a complete scam.  This company is just disugusting.  A complete ripoff.  This is obviously done to increase their subscription revenue to appease their stockholders at the expense of their customers.  I suggest you buy a competing product
