I signed up for a life time membership with IPSSC, and to date, have paid $396.00. I now find out Miguel Denyer has misrepresented himself as to his qualifications and certifications. I am canceling the remaining payments and would like to see him prosecuted for his fraudulent activities and hope my statement serves as a warning to others who seek membership in his organization. Thank you for your time and consideration

Update on previous rebuttal

After reading the original report filed by Michael Johnson, I challenged him in open forum to offer some sort of evidence regarding his claim that I misrepresented myself (which I never have) - to date he has failed to respond.

It may also be worth noting that he labelled his report as "credit card fraud" which makes me out to be a thief (which I am not - his credit card transactions were authorized by him and all goods and services offered in exchange for payment were received by him) and is also defamatory against my character yet Michael Johnson has not approached his credit card company with a complaint, has not issued a charge-back against his credit card, has not placed a report to his credit card company claiming fraudulent use, nor has he even once contacted me directly regarding this issue.

It transpires however, that Michael Johnson is a member of a competing organization and his report is an attempt to derail my organization.  His remarks are blatantly false, and are defamatory in nature - I have given Mr. Johnson a warning that I intend to seek legal counsel regarding his defamation of my character and have given him ample time to withdraw his complaint but he has failed to do so.

Rebuttal to Michael's "Complaint"

I am Miguel Denyer, Owner of IPSSC and the person mentioned in the above report.

This report has been labelled as Credit Card fraud which is not at all true.  The person reporting this issue - Michael Johnson of Temple, TX, did indeed make several payments of $49.50 over the past 9 months as per our membership agreement.  Mr. Johnson purchased a lifetime membership to IPSSC which costs $495 US and for which he opted to pay using our automatic PayPal subscription EZ Pay option which was 10 monthly payments of $49.50.  I can't and won't argue with that.  He has paid 9 out of the 10 months and has cancelled his agreement to pay meaning that he cancelled a binding agreement with a balance due of $49.50.  I don't really care about the remaining balance but I do care about this report because it is wholly fallacious:

For his $495, Mr. Johnson was promised a free signed copy of my book on Stalking & Harassment Threat Management, a free IPSSC embroidered shirt, free metal IPSSC lapel pin, free lifetime subscription to the IPSSC professional network, free lifetime Premium subscription (worth $150 per year) to the Overwatch Report (our online monthly publication) and free lifetime access to the IPSSC members website... all of which have been received by the individual in question.

The member did not sign up for any of my training courses, nor did we ever discuss my background or certifications and qualifications (none of which are misrepresented and all of which come not only with documentation but with independent 3rd party verification) - he was joining IPSSC as a lifetime member and nothing more.  The reason he has listed this report is because there is currently and has for some time, been an ongoing campaign of hatred against me which includes stalking and harassment at the hands of several individuals whom I have played a hand in outing as frauds themselves in the past.  I am not a fraud, I have not misrepresented myself and it may be worth noting that Mr. Michael Johnson (originator of the above report) has not once contacted me with any concerns whatsoever nor has he informed me about having any issues arising out of his membership... everything that he was promised, he has received - his so-called knowledge of apparent misrepresentation on my part is nothing more that the perpetuation of lies about me and my organization that have been brought by people who have never met me, never been a member of my organization and with one exception, have never attended any of my training courses.  Many of the courses offered by my organization are taught by well documented, verified well respected instructors in their field and whom are law enforcement and military instructors also.  I do not nor have I ever, made claim to be able to personally offer training in every course offered by my organization... I am qualified, experienced and certified in a few subjects that I offer instruction on but skills that I personally cannot offer, I employ 3rd party instructors to provide.

With One exception, everyone who has ever attended any of my courses, whether an attendance course or an online course has had nothing but excellent reviews.  Obviously this individual has been misled by someone with an ax to grind but he most certainly has NOT been defrauded, nor cheated nor lied to by me or anyone else in my organization.  The author of the above report has been contacted by e-mail and has been asked to remove the report and or offer a rebuttal to it and to issue a written apology.

Thank you for taking the time to read this rebuttal.
