Call Themselves I.R.S. in Washington D.C. In August and in September of this year, 2014, I received daytime phone calls with a WA D.C. caller ID. A woman called both times identifying herself as an agent of the IRS and stating that I owed the IRS 'x' amount of money. On both occasions I informed her in no uncertain terms that she was involved with a scam and to never, ever call me again.  Washington, D.C. Dist of Col.

She insisted the call was legitimately from the Internal Revenue Service - I said "Don't Call Again" and hung up on both occasions. The caller had a heavy Pakistan or Indian (India) accent.

Recently Dec 3, 2014, I received another call, a voice mail pre-recorded message by an anglo female voice sounding very grim, threatening and informing me that "This is the IRS. We have been trying to reach you. We have filed a lawsuit against you to recover what you owe. For more information call: 253-656-6680." I called the number and it was answered by a man with a heavy Paki/Indian accent. I hung up. These people have been harassing me for about 2 years. The last round of calls, about 1.5 years ago, involved a heavy accent man informing me he was "Officer 'Johnson' (whatever name). We have your social security number. You owe 'X' dollars and require you send it immediately... blah, blah, blah."

I asked my accountant to call them. He asked a bunch of specific, legal questions & discovered that they are a complete scam and fraud. He contacted the REAL Sheriff in the location of the call - upstate New York. I believe these calls were from the same people who now identify thenselves as IRS. Frightened People acutally send them money! DON'T DO IT! They are unscrupulous, cruel abusers of the freedoms of this country, the USA, to facilitate their unconscionable methods of earning a living.  AND AT FINALLY, The CROWNING TOUCH: Today, I got an "attempt to deliver" notice in my mailbox from "IRS" They have actually sent me a certified letter (!!). I will receive the letter tomorrow and will discover what additional insanity they are now attempting to perpetrate on me.
