Hey Troy?  Were you a black dude who usually wore a hat?  I worked there for about a month and the whole thing seemed a lil fishy from the get go.  The whole premise was strange.  They would give us phone books for different Islands and we would just call away.  Nothing more, nothing less.  If somebody got a sell, they would tell the team what Industry was "hot" and we would all jump to it.  My go to area was shipping and transportation. 

I remember one day, the boss came with a bottle of Caribbean Rum and he poured us all shots.  I got a sale not too long after that.  The other workers were cool but I was always curious as to whatever happened with this company. 

Im writing a rebuttal to Troy, well Monica. I watched that company mess with Troy for months, for nothing. I was reading and actually laughed because Monica was fired right after she commented that rebuttal. Still feel the same Monica??

My name is Troy. I am not concealing my identity. This is who I am. I used to work at island media advertising. let me give you all the truth. Island media is not all bad. there are some good people that work there. But the owner is the definition of scam artist. He does not pay his bills. If you don't believe me ask amscot, verizon, deltacom, FDN, and level 3(before my time so i will give him a pass on that one). I worked for this company for six or seven months. I watched people lie to customers, fake verification recordings(put in verification numbers that didn't not exist nor did it match the verification numbering system). If they FBI did a half decent investigation of this company they would find at least 20 wire fraud charges that I know about and kept a record of. I liked the company because It was trying to do innovative things. However Capt. Dave has run his ship aground too many times for me. The day I decided to leave was when I found proof of agents photocopying peoples signatures to credit card authorization forms. I got sick to my stomach. The agent said they were doing that but I did not believe her. Then I found the form. I lost all belief in anything the collection manager said or the sales manager. Not because they are bad people but because they didn't do anything about it. It is one thing to trick people into paying you for something you didn't order but it is another to basically sign their names to forms. After six months of people telling me (mostly family members) to leave and a very close family member almost dying for me to realize that. So I submitted my resignation via email. There is a claim that they didn't get it but that is soo not my issue. I just wanted a clean break. What to I get? David phillips stopping payment on my payroll check. He gave me some bogus reason that I lied to him about the verizon t1 bill. So lets get it out there. He called me into his office on more than one occasion saying that people couldn't call certain islands and that something was wrong with the phone system. So i would change the routes when people requested it. But we had some routes more expensive than others. That very same week I was working on some improvements to the system and what does he do? He shorts me hours on my check. They asked me not to take my check to the bank etc. So I stopped playing the game of educate people on my every move. I made it work. The bill they got from verizon was a product of them never paying verizon from 2005. I told my supervisor flat out. If I get one dispute through i am going to get denied on another so please pay the 2005 bill. Bill didn't get paid. Because Dave pays bills when he feels like it. So fine that's on you. You stop payment on my check I contacted the Federal Hours and Wages department. The I contacted the FBI about the information /documentation (called the police first to see who I needed to call). There is a whistle blowers law. So again just like I said in my email sue me. My attorney would love to find out where the $100k in july and september went. Dave you forget I know who did all the dirt and where the dirt was done. I knew somebody was gonna report you one day so I made sure I CYA'd myself. I just didn't think it would have to be me. But you have to be stopped. If I don't stand up who will.
