I went to a friend's house and was offered a wrap that would supposedly help me to lose inches and firm around my mid section. I let the girl wrap me and I ordered some product from her. I was told the result would be cumulative. Almost $250 and 2 months later, I saw no result whatsoever. I contacted the company to cancel the automatic shipment. I received an e-mail from an Anika refusing to cancel my shipment even though the product does not work. She said I was contractually obligated to 3 months of auto shipment. I would have been happy to use the product if it worked, but it doesn't. The product is complete and utter garbage. Do not do business with them, you will get ripped off for sure!

All the stories are true

AUTHOR: Hopper ATL - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, January 16, 2017

Wife bought some oils from a friend. Friend never mentioned anything about a 3 month subscription which is what you are actually buying. You could think of the oils as freebies but you pay the $40 per month for 3 months whether you "order" the oils or not. Nobody gives paperwork indicating you are actually buying a subscription for 3 months. Nobody tells you that you are buying a 3 month subscription. You find out when they hit your credit card again for another $40. This organization has the "used car salesman" persona and stench all over it. Do NOT buy into this rip off!!

Law research post about It Works Marketing

AUTHOR: Hopper ATL - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, January 15, 2017

I read through all the "statements" you made in your many paragraph response to the complaints.  While almost everything you said in those paragraphs maybe "factually" true it does not make them right.  So, here's my take on them.

1) it all appears to be an attempt to somewhat legally defend your company and its products.  Why not spend the time to make the customer happy?

2) some of it is just ridiculous.  "...instruction to make sure YOU drink more water: About half of your body's weight in ounces of water is ideal."  For me, 6' 8" and 280 pounds that means over 280 8oz glasses of water a day.  Not only do I not have time to drink that many glasses of water a day, I would spend the other part of the day in the restroom!  This claim is utterly ridiculous.

3) All of what you wrote, combined, gives the impression (to me and I'm sure others) of a stereo-typical cheezy used car sales person.  Any company that has to point out the "fine print" over and over is a) not listening to its customers to try to make the company/product/service better and b) lends to its own cheezy reputation.

Thanks for the opportunity to provide my perception of It Works Marketing scheme.

Why pay to cancel

AUTHOR: Realtor_Bill - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 06, 2016

It makes no sence to me that you buy a product then they make you buy 2 more months of products. What if you dont like the product. So you call the number and they say no problem you can cancel just pay a $50 fee. I will just take it up with my credit card company. The sales people should tell everyone that buys these products its not just a one time purchase.

POSTED: Thursday, November 12, 2015

I went through 4 wraps.  And nothing!  I've been using defining gel.  And no results!  And lastly the fat fighters.  Noticed nothing.  It Works is a joke.  The people who try and sell it are relentless and are just trying to make a dollar off people who've tried everything.  Basically they take advantage of people.

Agreements, Info, Research, Law and Common Sense go a long way!

AUTHOR: Research&Reason - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, February 04, 2015

A few points to note:

1. It Works Global is NOT publicly trade, it's privately owned -2. At It Works Global, we have a 7 to 1 ratio of customers to distributors, which is a record in our industry. The average for an MLM company is 3-1 or 4-1 customers to distributors. 3. There are HUNDREDS of rules/laws that we abide by to stay compliant with FTC regulations.

4. As with any product, if the instructions are not followed, results will greatly vary. This is HUGE. The wrap mentioned above may not show results if you use lotion right before, if you're not consuming water as instructed, if you've been drinking, if you are not wrapping properly, etc. etc. All of this info and more is given when you purchase them.  If you were not, chances are, you may have been duped by an unauthorized person who should not have been selling them in the first place. This applies to any product and any company anywhere. One wouldn't take suppliments or use a piece of exercise equipment, and expect to eat fastfood all the time and have positive results. Same can be said for above product, or any in general.  Follow the instructions, they're there for a reason; if you're unsure, consult whomever necessary to optimize results or ask appropriate questions.

5. It says as much and more on any official It Works material "Individual results can vary. All participants giving testimonials utilized a complete health regimen that incorporates the [product(s)] with physical activity, and a reasonable diet.

6. ALWAYS make sure to use common sense and purchase from a reputable and trusted source. Scams using a companies product happen all the time. They may sell expired or damaged items, they may not be authorized to sell any of these items in the first place. Do your research, and check.

7. You CAN always cancel your Auto-Shipment. Before you sign up, you are given a detailed run down of how everything works, important numbers, cost, canceling Auto-Shipments, when to cancel by, etc. etc.  RE: Loyal Customer Agreement. As with any company, Customer service and any other facet, is subject high call volume, technical difficulties, etc. I reviewed resolved issues on BBB before I signed as a Loyal Customer.

In response to the "Dehydrate yourself" comment, It's made VERY clear in several pages of instruction to make sure YOU drink more water: About half of your body's weight in ounces of water is ideal. And in response to Pyramid Scheme: Pyramid schemes are illegal; it's where no actual product is being sold. You are paid only for signing up new "distributors." See above customer to distributor ratio.

In response to the sister quitting her job under a promise, that's something one person decides to do all on their own. And with any company, any business, any line of work even; you get what effort you put out. You many have down months, but overall, the benefits outweigh the negatives. Once you sign as a distributor, you start kit gives you everything you need to make that back, with a box of wraps alone. You're not obligated to buy anything. Research, research, research. Study, Know you're information, understand the company, understand the product, understand your purchases. Always. Anywhere. ?

In response to the lengthier scam post, you lost a total of 7 inches, but then it reversed and made it worse? I don't know where to go with that. I do know that you in no way were authorized to resell product, and that it's very likely that you were on multiple lists for selling illegally. -On top of that, if you were never a distributor, you were in no way authorized to sell anything, ever anyway. I've worked in Copyright infringement litigation, especially when that occurs in the wake of technological developments and social media and selling sites. ***VERO is a program that allows the owner of intellectual property to report an infringing listing. To comply with the Safe Harbor provision of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act, eBay is required to remove the listing if they receive a Notice of Copyright Infringement (NOCI). - eBay is not required to make a determination of the validity of the claim; that is between you and the VERO member who reported it. ANy business owner in their right mind would want to protect their intellectual property and prevent those not authorized or trained to sell it stopped.

And the spam is probably related to whatever sites you were trying to sell your items on. If you honestly believed they didn't work, why would it be okay for you to then try and sell them to someone else???

Any saying they didn't want to insult their friend or lodge a complaint, don't like to complain, etc. ...If it didn't work, or you wanted to quit, stop Auto-shipments, no longer distribute, etc. You should have done so immediately and followed the proper channels to sort that out.  Worse case scenario, put a stop payment on you bank account or card, explaining the dilemma. Mistakes happen, so I feel for those that had a bad experience and didn't know the proper course of action. That said, you can't eat an entire entree and then try to get comped for the meal because you didn't like it. Ya dig?  I personally know several people that just couldn't be a distrubutor anymore, or canceled their Loyal Customer shipment, and the charges indicated in the initial document were applied, and that was that.

I stop here, or I'l address all of the comments and it will get quite lengthy. Know the product. Know the law, Read what you sign, do your research.

It's not a scam

AUTHOR: Sarah - ()

POSTED: Saturday, August 09, 2014

First of all, you lost 5 inches without even finishing the entire treatment yet claim it's a scam? Makes sense =/ Secondly, if you think It Works is susch a terrible company for selling products that "don't work" what kind of person does it make you being that you then turned around and tried to sell these same products that "don't work" to someone else? Lastly, it is always recommended that you live a healthier lifestyle to maintain your results. Just like anything else that will help you tone up- if you stop doing it and go back to eating crap food you will not keep your results. Are you saying that if I exercise and eat healthy for a month and lose 15 lbs but them when I stop being healthy and I go back to eating junk and gain the weight back that exercise is a rip off or a scam? Common sense goes a long way in lfe...

As for the person who quit her job- we all have a free-will. It is nobody elses fault that she quit her job. This is a very lucrative company. All distributors start out the same and have the same opportunities. If she didn't do well, it is because of her own efforts. PERIOD. This is not rocket science. It is marketing. You buy a product at wholesale and sell it at retail. You can grow your team to increase your man power, or you can offer a great discount to loyal customers who get wholesale pricing and the company will still py you commissions from that. Some people are good at the job and some people are not. It's no different than any other sales job except for the fact that your income possibilities are pretty limitless and you have a greater flexibility. And one more point I'd like to add... It is not a pyramid scheme, nor do our wraps dehydrate you. Look up the definition of a pyramid scheme and educate yourself. Also, I make about 6 times more than the person who signed me because I work harder than she does. Wow- bet you didn't expect to see that in a "pyramid scheme". Please get back to me when you do the entire treatment (as it is packaged and sold), wrapping every 72 hours, following the instructions and then let me know what you think. You need to apply the applicators to clean skin, wrap the same area for the entire treatment and do exactly the opposite of dehydrate yourself as mention by another skeptic who has no clue what they'r talking about. You actually need to DRINK MORE WATER! About half of your body's weight in ounces of water is ideal. These wraps DO NOT pull waer from your body, nor do they make you sweat. They are not the same as salon wrpas so seriously, before you go ranting and putting your oppinion on here, at least have a credible educated one to share about the products AND about what a pyramid scheme actually is.

I was a customer before I was a distributor. ItWorks is a great company with great products! It's not a scam people and chances are that most of the people complaining didn't use the products correctly.

As for the lady claiming her sister was told to quit her job....highly doubtful! No one has ever told me to quit my job, neglect my kids, etc! Your sister chose those actions on her own so don't blame the company. Maybe your sister wants you to believe her story but you should do your research before bad mouthing a company that believes family comes first!

It Works isn't a scam

AUTHOR: newm2078 - ()

POSTED: Sunday, January 19, 2014

First of all, I would like to aknowldge that no matter how GOOD of a company it is, there will always be individuals who have a BAD experience. Unfortunately, not all of those individuals are able to distinuish the difference between a bad experience and a bad company. I work for a large non-profit, for example, and we have an excellant reputation. Despite this, I have had people who have claimed to have had horrible experiences with my organization. Does that make us bad? No. It means that there are areas we can improve in, OR the person  making the claim is being unreasonable.

Tha accusation that the wraps don't work is simply unreasonable. Maybe they didn't work for her, but they worked for me. And, they have worked for several of my friends. Let me make this clear: I AM NOT AN IT WORKS DISTRUBUTOR. I have a wonderful career and am not interested in taking on anything else, but if I had the time, I would seriously consider selling this product.

I lost over 1 inch my first wrap ( I actually measured, drank the recommended water, and was already on a consistenly healthy diet). I lost 2 inches on my second wrap. After the wraps, I started taking the greens. I have taken the greens every day since last June and have never felt better. I mentioed I work for a non-profit...well that non-profit involves a lot of kids. A lot of kids means lots of germs. My boss has been sick twice this year, all my staff have been sick more than once, all the kids have gotten sick (because it spreads like wild fire), etc. I haven't had so much as a sniffle and I have done nothing new except taking my greens. 8 servings of superfoods in two small scoops of powder with water every morning? Yes, please.

Last point, to everyone knocking MLM companies: Do some real research. All sales companies have a pyramid structure, but the difference is that the lowly sales guy on the floor makes a small commission, has no flexibility, and can only go after the customers who come to them. MLM's (reputable ones), allow individuals to own their own small business, be their own boss, and reap the benefits. You go after MLM's when regular people are making a decent living, meanwhile in traditional sales businesses the bottom suckers are making minimum wage while the tops are flying in private jets?

Seems a little backwards. It works only requires $99 to start. With that $99, you get $100 worth of product. You sell the 4 wraps, you have your money back. After that, there is NO OBLIGATION. If you don't maintain your minimum autoship colume then you simply don't qualify to make commisision. There is no penalty, no hidden fees, no event requirements, etc.

I'm sorry to everyoe who feels they got ripped off, but you all seem to fal in the "unreasonable" category to me. And, you really should do better research on the process, the product, and look at the real situation. The lady who's sister quit her job? Wow. Blame the company for that? Holy smokes! Sounds like your sister needs to learn to think for herself. All the people with auto ship problems--I have ever had a problem changing or cancelling my auto-ship. Customer service was helpful and curteous. Tne people who claim it didn't work? Maybe it didn't--for YOU, but you don't speak for the company or the product or for all it's future customers.

I personally will continue using the It Works products because they are all natural goodness  for my body and help make me feel better and stay on track for my healthy and fitness journey.

no credibility

AUTHOR: lakawak - ()

POSTED: Sunday, November 10, 2013

The very fac that bumoette turned this into a pitch for hte company, becuase you are desperate to make your pyramid a little bigger to make money takes away every ounce of credibility your comment may have had. It amazed me that in 2013 people still fall for pyramid schemes.

It doesn't take a Ph. D. in biology to know that it is not going to make you lose weight, except for water weight becuase it is HURTING your body by dehydrating you. The people shilling for this are desperate to break even so they can get out before the company gets shut down by the FDA.

Auto Shipment CAN be stopped

AUTHOR: bumpette - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, September 17, 2013

As a Loyal Custoner with ItWorks, I was able to STOP my auto shipment without a problem.  A few weeks later, I chose to become a distributor for the company.  My Loyal Customers have never had a problem Stopping the auto-shipment with a phone call to customer service.  They are always asked to reconsider because they will lose their 'perk points' which can be used toward a future purchase but the auto shipment is always stopped immeidately.  As their distributor, I always check on this to make sure it has been stopped.  I don't want my friends, family or clients to face any unauthorized charges.  Like I said, the auto shipment can be stopped without a problem.  If this is done before the 3 month commitment agreed to, there is a $50 membership fee that will apply.

not a secret

AUTHOR: Bravo - ()

POSTED: Thursday, May 09, 2013

The wraps are not a scam.  Simply, they are for tightening and firming skin, not weight loss.  They make no claim that they will work the same for everyone.  It Works also carries vitamin suppliments and skin care products.  You can make a one-time purchase for retail price or sign up as a loyal customer.

Secondly, the terms and conditions are clearly expressed.  Nobody forced you into anything; you agreed to a 3 month flexible auto-ship in order to receive wholesale prices.  After not getting the results you were seeking, you could have contacted your distributor for help or even switched to a different product.  If you no longer wanted to honor your contract, you could have opted out with a membership fee.

Mom of 2 helping others in health & wealth

AUTHOR: Nicole4itworks - ()

POSTED: Monday, April 15, 2013

I am going to say this once: Every negative comment on here is subjective. Period. A company like It Works! that is debt free, paying out over $15 mil in just our GOOD-get out of debt bonus-in 2012, a company that is growing at 600%, signing 2000-3000 new distributors daily and over 100,000 new customers per month cannot possibly constitute as a "scam." If I were to learn the character of each person that is on here righting a complaint I would learn that they are: one, typically not finishing anything they start; two, typically try things and then have buyers remorse; three, have a negative attitude in general about life, goals, hope.

The girl whose sibling said people told her to quit her job and in 5 yrs they will be wealthy- u may have heard that from a distributor I don't know; but absolutely would you not have heard that from even our leadership because the founders do not ever discuss money in terms of being rich nor do they teach that quitting your job before u r matched in income is smart. Some of the leadership still keep their jobs cuz they love what they do, but it won't change their financial sitch for the better.

I ask you to please apply common sense here. The company is super reputable and just like Google, Microsoft, Ford, or any company, there are always nay-sayers. We have an autoship in place for us to use the product and (as openly discussed at our trainings) the autoship is what one of the bonuses are paid from, thus it is a pull of money. I am a stay-at-home mom of two, work 10-15 hrs/ wk with It Works! I am a product success story and a business success story as is my husband. The company is great, gets better daily, the products deliver & the founders completely practice great ethics.

We are fortunate that this industry has a company like It Works! that has gone out and changed the standard-raised the bar. If we fail it is because we quit or we never really started. My prayer is that you as a person learning about It Works! really looks deep because what you will find is a gift. It has been for me and those we have introduced. Like anything worth while, we make sacrifices but never any that encourage debt, failure or hurting our relationship with God & family. The founders and the mantra of this company is Debt Free is the new sexy...yes it is. Bless. ~Nicole M****

It Works, Does Work!

AUTHOR: Tell it like it is... - (Canada)

POSTED: Sunday, February 17, 2013

It's unfortunate that people have blame their own ignorance on a perfectly reputable company. I am not an It Works Distributor, but I am a loyal customer and a loyal user of many of the It Works natural supplements as well as the wrap.

I have had great results with both the wraps and the supplements. I have lost inches around my waistline however, results do vary each time I use the wrap, but I notice a definite difference in the way my clothes fit. I have increased energy during the day and am sleeping better since I started taking the Greens and the It's Vital supplement.

Every single complaint that is listed here is all of the users own doing. The $50 fee was explicitly explained to me, and would apply if I were to cancel my Loyal Customer status. I am happy to announce that I have been a Loyal Customer since October 2012 and will continue to be a Loyal Customer. All regulations were also in print on the form that I signed. If you sign something without knowing the terms and conditions, then you will have to deal with the ramifications. Why would you sign something without knowing what you're entering into? This is your own doing, not the company's.

All of the products do contain a disclaimer stating that results may vary, so again, don't blame the company for not reading all information prior to signing. The company does not force you to sign, you did it on your own accord. You can also purchase their products without being a Loyal Customer, so perhaps that option should have been considered first before signing up as a Loyal Customer.

I do not work for It Works, but I do work for another multilevel marketing company and am making a great living off of it. Not because my sponsor told me that I do well, because I made the decision to do well. The only person that is responsible for your success or failure in any business, is yourself.

Thanks It Works for making such a cutting edge product that I feel safe using and notice all of the benefits!!

It Works Products Worked For Me!

AUTHOR: Patti - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, November 05, 2012

I tried the product that was supposed to smooth your skin and help lose inches and had a totally different outcome! I used the body wrap after measuring at five separate points on my midsection. After keeping it on for 50 minutes, we measured again, and I had lost 4 7/8 inches.

The friend who'd had me try the wrap told me to measure again in 48 hours, and when I did, my total loss was eleven inches! As an added bonus, I had a three-hour drive home and my friend told me to put the (already used) wrap on my lower back during my drive. After driving home I tossed the wrap, went to bed, and woke up pleasingly surprised with NO back pain.

I've seen many other people who have used the body wrap, and they had positive results as well. I can absolutely say that the product is NOT "complete and utter garbage". In fact, I am amazed at how little the product costs for how well it works!

This is why It Works! is not a scam

AUTHOR: Nicole4itworks - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, September 21, 2012

Points to be made clear:
One: It Works! provide a one page, very clear and easy to understand rules to being a loyal customer, which states that a person can end their autoship membership simply by calling. However, if it is within the first 90 days customer service it to tell the customer that there is a $50 membership fee that willbe assesed as stated in the program rules. Pretty fair since as a loyal customer we are saving up to 45% off the product.

Two: It Works! customer service while not perfect is far from bad. They are curtious, polite and helpful. They do have knowledge of the rules and state the rules as I am sure is mandated in their job description.

Three: In my experience of sharing the products with over 250 people, when results are not achieved initially there are typically results over the next 72 hours. In some occassions individuals do not achieve any results even after using 3 applications, however will notice results by the fourth application. One 4-pack of Ultimate Applicators is considered 1 full treatment. Equally important, individuals have different pore sizes, skin and body toxicity, and other factors that may hinder the rapidity of the results, however individuals do get results when the applicator is applied on clean skin. Other factors that hinder the rapidity of results are medication use, drug use/abuse, alcohol use during application time, smoking cigarettes to name the most noticeable hinders and simply lack of water consumption.

Four: Individuals that I have had experience with that do not get quick results will in fact get results as they add The Greens and It's Vitals to help detox and balance the body.

In closing, these products are all-natural and it is not unreasonable to expect some push back from our body since typically we have been abusing it with toxins for several years and then some. It is my experience that those that get the fastest results are the individuals that lead a more healthy lifestyle. Thus, since those of you that are writing these bashing reports do not provide the courtesy of your exact weight, how much abuse you perhaps have done to yourself over the years, geographical locations/toxic environment, the methods in which you are taking the product (likely incorrect), and all pertinent factors; it is acceptable for me to be more skepticle of you than a Company that has 100's of 1000's satisfied Loyal Customers world wide and that is growing at over 400% topping $100 million in sales mid-June 2012.

I am happy to discuss with anyone your concerns regarding your product use. My hubby didn't get big results til after 4 applicators and using the Greens and It's Vital for 3 months. Now weight is coming off no problem.

My sister is a rep for it works selling these wraps. They sold her on how well they work and what great results they have seen with all their products and got her to sign up for an auto shipment every month. Then when she spent every minute of her time selling these things to everyone she could (and no one ever bought more than once), neglecting her daughter, family, house, everything, she was told she wasn't putting enough time and effort into it and that is why she couldn't sell her entire shipment every month.

That's when they convinced her to quit her job telling her she would be retired in 5 years if she listened to them. Now she lives with my parents again and works at tacos bell while trying her best to unload whatever she can of her monthly shipment that she usually ends up buying herself and using because no one else wants it. She holds wrap parties at halls and local restaraunts like they tell her to but no one shows up and it costs her a fortune.. Bottom line stay away from this company on any level. It WORKS is "NOT" a scam!

You might not have seen the results you wanted because even though most individuals begin to see improvement after the first application, it could take up to 3-4 applications for some clients to achieve the best possible results. This usually applies to the following clients: Those who are on medications and/or who have toxic systems. Everyones body is different. If you have small or clogged pores it can affect your ability to see results.  If you do have small or clogged pores, it is recommended that you use an exfoliator to help remove any dead skin cells that may be clogging your pores & preventing you from absorbing the lotion formula. ** Since the body contouring line is based in detoxification, the amount of toxins in your body will play a factor in how quickly you will notice results. If your diet or lifestyle is unhealthy, you may also experience a bloating effect immediately after wearing a wrap; this is only temporary side effect of the detoxification process. Drinking plenty of water will assist in the detoxification process & help you to start seeing results. People who experience this temporary effect & drink plenty of water to aid the detoxification process see dramatic contouring results 24-72 hours after the initial application.

I am still confused on why you even chose to sign up as a loyal customer if you did not even see results beforehand?Anika was right, as a loyal customer, you are committed to the company for 3 months unless you want to cancel for $50. When you signed up, you agreed to that policy unless the fine lines were not read, which is not a mistake on the company's part. People tend to think a company is a scam when things do not work for them like it does others. Fact of the matter is, the company never guarantees everyone to see HUGE results! Fact of the matter is, the company's policies are stated before the consumer makes the commitment to purchase, so it is the consumer's responsibility to read the policies and adhere to them. So, there is no reason to blame the company for the loss.

Yes it works global marketing is a complete scam!!

I used the products.  I tried 2 body wraps.  I saw Instant results on my first one.  Lost a total of 5 inches after wearing wrap on my mid section.  The distributor, Candice Ahrens a friend of my sister signed me up as a loyal customer after we discussed the multi market scheme of becoming a distributor, I am so not into forcing others to sign up or conning them!!  But I did fall for the con myself, how ironic!!

I signed up with the intent to resell them, she was aware of that.  Plain and simple, all communication is saved and documented.  I did a second wrap, lost a total of 2 more inches on mid section.  I followed the instructions and wore them longer than 45 minutes.  I thought WOW!!!!  I am not heavy by no means, I am quite fit.  I just had that mid section that needed help.  Couple weeks after using them I bloated terrible!!  They do not work, they are a temporary fix to snag people into becoming distributors or signing a loyal customers committing to 3 months minimum product purchase.  When you realize they are a scam you have to pay them $50 to cancel!!!  Then do anything and everything they can to stop you from reselling products you are now stuck with!!!  But they do offer products back within 30 days, less your taxes, less your shipping charges, on top of you having to pay them to send them back not to mention they charge you a 10% restock fee.  Bunch of garbage.  You still lose, so hahahaha to unsuspecting buyers!!!

I had been selling these wraps on ebay.  I kept getting messages that said distributors were not allowed to resell them.  I told them I am not a distributor, mind your own business.  Then I get a sale, no payment but a message from the company cancelling my loyal customer account, yet shipping me items I can not go on and change or stop and they charge my bank account.  Now I am at their mercy and the customer service chic is rude and repeats stupid things over and over. I recorded her conversation and asked her point blank if she had objection to recording it, and she wants to argue with me after agreeing to the recording!!  I only did what their distributor told me.  I never saw nor signed any agreement as a distributor!!!!  So refund my money you lying scamming company!!!!  They committed fraud in order to gain my personal information from ebay by making a false member ID and making a false bid on my auction!!!

I told them I wanted my money back for what I invested.  I bought the products with intent to resell under false pretenses.  The distributor lied and told the company she never said I could resell them.  I have the conversation saved.  She lied to save her own but.  She was making bank off me and had no second thought to the money I invested not only in their product but advertising and my own marketing at the lying distributors suggestion.  She was so excited to be making 15% commission off what I sold on top of telling me to hand out HER cards to buyers so she could con them into joining this SCAM of a company.

So now the products I have left I am trying to resell to make my money back and they report my auction, my own pictures my own text saying I violate the copyright.  LIARS!!!  They don't want people to know their products are worthless.  They claim to keep their products discrete and protect their integrity.  They have no integrity or they would have been more than willing to pay me for my troubles, take it from their distributor or punish them.  Nope they don't care, they have your money and your banking information!!  Then all of a sudden I get fraudulent money orders in the mail and my email is flooded with spam!!!  I never gave my information to anyone or signed up for anything.  Is the timing coincidental or what???  Anyone else have this happen???

Yes, it is a horrible customer service company

AUTHOR: dragonlady - (United States of America)

I am so sorry for you.  Get out before it's too late.  Are you REALLY making any money, or are they simply billing you for unsold product?  This company is absolutely horrible!!  I have noticed that the only people backing the company are new distributors.  Any multi-level marketing is an emp[loyment scam.  Didn't you notice as a distributor, you MUST sign up for an auto ship.  Here's your sign!  They don't care whos money they take, the customers or yours.  To get on with my story, I heard the product was great and results were amazing, so I was eager to try.  I decided if this product is so great, I'd enroll in the Loyal customer program to receive the product at a reduced cost.  So FINALLY after 2 1/2-3 weeks, my product arrives.  I notice the dircetions on the package are really vague, so I called the distributor and was told to wrap my problem areas and rub in the excess lotion once I remove the wrapand drink plenty of water.  No problem, I always drink plenty of water.  After I removed the wrap, I began to feel sick to my stomache.  I again, called to see if this was common and was told this product is "ALL NATURAL" and should have not caused nausea.  Again, drink plenty of water.  She told me it was probably a "toxic bloat"  Toxic bloat??  How can something 'ALL NATURAL' CAUSE A TOXIC BLOAT??  The nausea continued for about 4 or 5 days and I even missed work.  When I called the distributor, she assured me that it was ME and not the product.  OK HHHMMM! But I didn't want to cause problems with the company because I was friends with the girl who recommended it.  So I expressed my dislike of the body wraps and was told to try another product.  So I log on and change my auto ship to send facial wraps instead of the body wraps.  I fell for the BS that it was me and NOT the product.  So, I get my facial wraps and am excited to try this WONDERFUL ALL NATURAL product.  I follow the vague directions to the tee, wait the suggested 45 mins to an hour, remove my mask, rub rub rub in all the excess product, drinking water as I went, I walk out of the bathroom to show my husband who asks "What happened to your eyes?"  I run back into the bathroom only to find bags and dark dark circles under my eyes.  These circles and bags appeared immediately after I removed the mask and I have never in my life had a problem with bags or circles.  Once again I'm on the phone with the distributor, who states, this has NEVER happened!  OMG, you're not doing something right.  WTH?????  Was she serious???  Apply the mask, rub in the excess, drink plenty of water...  How hard is it to follow those directions?  The bags and dark circles lasted over a week.  I contacted It Works (no it doesn't) and told them my story.  At first they were AGAIN blaming me!!  Now I totally understand where the distributor got her attitude from, It Works must train them to ignore any product problems and complaints, instead of addressing the problems to improve their product.  Keep in mind I use beauty products constantly, as I am an addict of sorts, and have NEVER, no matter how cheap the product experienced anything this disfiguring, nor have I seen any cosmetic company REFUSE to stand behind their product!!  After a lengthy conversation about refunding my money the lady on the phone, first tries to suggest I change my auto ship to some other products they sell.  Yeah right,  your product has made me sick and disfigured my face and you want me to try another possibly damaging product from your company??  I did ask her at one point during our conversation why the company did NOT back their product like EVERY other cosmetic company in the nation.  She still held fast to the fact that I was lying, which is more or less the attitude the distributor had.  It was really starting to bother me that EVERYONE representing the product was in such denial.  I KNEW I was telling the truth and I KNEW that their product had caused every bit of anything I was complaining about.  Then I remembered the pictures.  The day before I applied the mask, I had taken a few pictures of myself to send to a friend and my husband recommended I take pics of the damage the mask had done to my face.  My camera automatically stamps pictures with the date and time they were taken.  When I mentioned I had dated pictures, complete with the times, of me a day before I used the mask, and pictures immediately after I removed the disfigurement mask, she changed her tune and decided to let me out of the auto ship program without charging me the $50.00.   WOW!!  This is not the end of the dilema, believe it or not.  About a week later, I received my credit card statement and noticed I was billed 71.23 for a product that was listed as selling for 46.00.  So they charged me a 27.00 fee for shipping???  And it took almost 3 weeks to receive it from MI?  Can you say RIP OFF???  I was also charged 62.43 instead of 42.00 for the mask.  Will be contacting It Works this afternoon, you can bet!!  I am not one to lodge complaints, so keep that in mind while you are reading this, I am jujst so angry that the company basically told me I was lying. (they didn't say it in those words) but they may as well have.  GET OUT NOW before your stuck with thousands of dollars worth of product that may or may not disfigure your loved ones.  Aren't those the ones the company is suggesting you sell to?  Anyway, I hope this helps just one person not to be sucked into buying this product from a company which is nothing more than a multi-level marketing scam.  YES IT'S A SCAM!!

It Works Body Wraps are NOT a Scam

AUTHOR: Stacy Stevens - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 30, 2011

I'm sorry you did not have the results you wanted from your wraps.  I have been using mine for 3 weeks now and I'm down 10 inches, 10 lbs and a pants size so far!  You really should contact your distributor and have her explain the correct usage to you.
I know it sounds simple, but, its very important to use the wraps every 72 hours and use the defining gels as suggested.  There are also a couple other  personal issues that could affect the result of the wrap.  If you don't drink water, it wont work.  If you are not regular, it wont work as well either.
As far as the three month auto ship, you did agree to that when you signed up.  You can get out early, but you have to pay the termination fee!
