ITT technical institute wont give me my pell grant refund when my montgomery gi bill fully pays for my school they keep it for months and tell me something different everytime i ask where it is fellow students are going threw the same as well chantilly Virginia

I have been attending this campus for almost two years. I will be graduating in the summer. Everytime a new semester starts i am entitled to my pell grant refund. I am using my Montgomery G.I. bill to recieve my education. I was in the Navy for 12 years. Once i got out i went to school and here I am being ripped off by ITT. After years of dedication, time away from my family to serve and protect our country and all i get in return is for a school in my country to continuosly rip me off.

When i first registered for school i discussed with the staff there that i had three children and my wife was pregnant with twins and was still working. In oreder for me to attend school my wife would have to quit her job because we didnt have day care and daycare is not open nights which is when my school hours are 6pm to 11 pm. I also work a full time job as soon as i get home at 4;30 i am leaving to go to school. We went over my finances and what i would be recieving from my pell grant and Montgomery G.I. bill we would barely be making it. The school knew this and assured me evrything would work out and they would make sure i would recieve my money on time.

Now here i am again getting the run around on where my refund is. In the the meantime my wife has had to pawn her jewelery and i have had to take another personal loan out just to make sure i have money for gas to get to school and work and to make sure my children had diapers. The school knew this i pushed the issue and everyday its something different im being told about were my check is. Not only that they change teachers all the time which is very confusing and un ethic.

 They pass people even if they are failing just to make sure they recieve there money and credentials. The teachers dont even know the material they are teaching. I have personally on several occasions had to show my professors how to do something. I am currently going for associates in science of electronic engineering. Its a shame that the studets here know more then the actual teachers do. Alot of the students that attend ITT are prior or current millitary. somebody needs to bring it to the DOD that this school is a scam and they should not give them a penny. They are a joke. One of my twis has febrile seizures and has to go to a pediatric neurologist this friday for the first time and i dont even have gas money and co-payment to give to my wife to take him because ITT has had my refund for months and I have yet to recieve it. I factor that money into our budget and we rely on that money. If i were to drop out of school so my wife could go back to work then i would have to pay back the governemnet and ITT . Its reidicilous they pretty much own me. I cant even take care of my family because of the way this school runs.

If you read the reviews on there corporate website you will see thousands of reviews from students about the same issues.     All they do is give you way to much homework because they cant seem to keep teachers and the teachers they bring in dont know anything. The staff is mainly females and all they do is sit around on there phones and stand outside smoking and gossiping. It ir ridicilous. somebody needs to do something about this school. I dont have the funds or time to try to bring this school down if i di trust and believe i would. Please help.
