I received A call back in October of last year about an unresolved debt. I was caught off guard because earlier that summer I refinanced my home to pay off all outstanding debts. I received this first call at my job and spoke to what sounded like an uneducated 17 year old punk. This man was loud, mean, demeaning. He outright harassed me for 30 minutes.

He went on to tell me I had a G.E.D and that I was an idiot who worked at a supermarket....anything but the truth. He told me I was an embarassment to my family I that I owed **** money and they were to collect it.
After him yelling at me AND SCARRING me I hung up.

THis company then called my human resources department trying to get info from them. A couple of days later I received another call at work from the same person, this time I asked imemdiately to speak to a supervisor.

THis man at first was helpful, I explained my situation, I was preganant and going on leave. We worked out a payment plan (or so I thought). A few weeks passed and I recieved a call from the supervisor, MR. Nice turned into Mr. scary. It was like a split personality, he yelled and yelled. I then hung up and went on Maternity leave for 14 weeks.

I just returned to work 2 weeks ago and out of the blue received a call from Victor Yesterday. I explained that I was at work and couldn't speak but would call back on my way home. I actually was hesitant about calling after my last experience but knew I needed to resolve this situation. I know this is something that needs to be resolved and I have all intentions on paying back, but I'm a single mom and need some type of payment plan.

After hearing my situation VIctor was to put me on the phone with the supervisor to further discuss (even though he doesn't normally speak to clients). Enter CHarles....wow!! Thats all I can say. Charles like the first supervisor months ago, started off being nice. Once he wasn't hearing what he wanted he started to harass me, calling me an embarassment to my family. What scared me is he knew things about my family, my mom, dad grandparents. Where they lived, how long, knowing they were home owners. Forcing the information on me, my family has money, equity, credit.

At one point he told me I needed to have my dad give me his credit cards, whether it be 2 or 3 to pay off this debt.Like an idiot I was talking, probably unknowingly giving information. He kept at me, telling me he would go after me to the fullest extent of connecticut Law. That if I didn't take care of the matter right then and there I would be "sued" that I could go to jail. He went on to say I was a mother with children and I wouldn't want that.

This man knew so much, he was mean, rude, quite forceful and he scared me with his comments.My phone died cutting us off, I thought to myself you shouldn't of called.

I drove home crying, and became frantic when I got into my house. I explained to my mom the situation and she suggested a few things on how to handle this. I then decided to pick up the phone and call my cousin. She calmed me down, she told me about these harassing debt collects. She explained recently 20/20 aired a segment on this. I gave her the number Victor left me and we went online to research the company.

Today when I came to work I had a link from my cousin. And well here I am, still upset about the call but feeling a little relieved that it isn't me...that this company breaks the law on a daily basis.
