Jackson Hewitt, SBBT Ripoff Un-ethical Practices, Lying Aloha Oregon

I would like to take this time to file a written complaint about your Aloha, Or. office. A written response from Head Office would be most appreciated.

We have had a very bad experience with the employees of this office and have been lied to regarding the loans of Money Now and RAL. We will not use your services again.

My fiance and I have taken our taxes to your company because of the Money Now Loan, we were told the basis of these loans is credit and a few other criteria. This is not true. The loans are based off of whether or not you have requested a loan off of your taxes before.

The employees at the Aloha, Or. branch have flat out lied to us. We were denied the Money Now Loan and we were denied the RAL Loan but were not advised of this, instead we were led to believe that our check will arrive the next day.

After contacting Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, and speaking with the manager, we were advised the answer is given within 3 minutes of loan possibilities. Only after talking with the manager and determining that Jackson Hewitt is in error of processes and is lying to it's customers were we offered some assistance from the Bank of Santa Barbara Trust.

Nowhere in your literature is there any information regarding these processes and how the decision is made but also you do not tell anyone at the time of signing documentation that the loan has been rejected. Also, nowhere on the documentation does it show the $10.00 internet special that was printed and handed to your representative which constitutes fraud and false advertising.

I have contacted the IRS Fraud Department and have asked them to investigate your offices.

I will make it a point to tell others about the lying and the deceit regarding your company.

Please take the time to train your employees about ethical business practices and the harm lying can do to your reputation.

This letter has been copied and sent to the IRS Fraud Department and Santa Barbara Bank and Trust Co.
