Jamal Nabulsi, owner of Pinkberry La Jolla, Pinkberry Hillcrest, Coldstone Pacific Beach and Edesia Grill. Beware of this business owner as you will end up in his entangled ways of doing business and lose money.
I am a marketing contractor and Jamal Nabulsi contacted me with interest to use my services. Before Jamal even made any kind of commitment or payment I spent a significant number of hours to conduct market research and provide him with a more detail insights of what needs to be done to grow his failed business locations. I even did free research for his wife’s failed business, a jewelry store in la jolla San Diego called Timeless Treasures.
After I presented him with a well-developed marketing strategy Jamal agreed to it and we started the project with his initial deposit of $1,000. After only 2 business days Jamal started sending me weird text messages like “3 days have passed, and you haven’t done anything”. Then I received text messages like “I expected results right away and I see no results”. So this guy is completely delusional and starts hitting my phone up in no time.
Two days later I noticed that he has retracted his deposit from my account and made the check invalid. With all the initial work involved this set me back $700 and more than 15 hours of my time. I recommend you don’t waste your time with this person because he has no clue what he is doing. He reportedly sent racist comments to one of his employees which aggravated his whole staff and now they are considering a lawsuit.
Jamal Nabulsi is the owner of Pinkberry La Jolla, Pinkberry Hillcrest, Coldstone on Mission blvd and Edesia Grill, all businesses located in San Diego, California. If you are ever contacted regarding any of these businesses, BEWARE, you’ve been WARNED. You will be working with a DESPERATE, DELUSIONAL business man (it’s a joke to call him a business man) and he will not just waste your time and money but the way he talks to you will make it the worst experience you’ve ever had.
I would STRICTLY avoid working for or with this man. He’s already lost more than 1 quarter of his employees only after a couple of months since opening his business locations. No one seems to like working with this guy and I can see why. He is broke and desperate, so he will do anything to get away with not paying you for your work and time invested. The way he runs his businesses there is nothing you can do to help him. Stay away!

I just saw this report. A friend of mine highlighted this bogus report to me. So, even though it is old, I feel that I must correct the record and expose this liar. There are many crooks in the digital marketing area, and this guy is slick master in that area. I was cheated before several times by individuals and companies who promise you the sun and the moon in promoting your business and getting fantastic results...but after they get your money, you end up with mediocre results.
This guy came to me prevoiusly looking for a job, but I did not hire him. Then after a year or so we re-connected, and he claimed that he became an expert on digital marketing and he had a team in Eastern Eruope with great capabilities. He said ""within few days" I would see MAJOR influx of positive reviews in multiple media including Yelp, Google and other platforms...so I dined him and wined him and told him if he does deliver on one store, I would have handle all marketing for all of my businesses, but I wanted to test him on one store and see.
Pinkberry was the first...and he said within few days I would see significant difference. But after two weeks I only saw one review that he himself put in Yelp. Upon following up with him, he said don't worry it will you will see major results within few days. After few days nothing happened. So, I knew he was a liar like many other marketing or so-called digital marketing experts. That is when I challenged him and said what happened to your promises?...where is you team of experts who do wonders? it has been two weeks and I don't see much happening. He said oh, this would take few months to show results...you need to be patient.
That is when it became obvious to me he was another liar and he wanted to take my money for several months and by that time if there are no results and I fire him he would have at least made several thousand dollars. So, yes I went to the bank and made a stop paymet on his check and told him I did not want anything to do with him anymore. Immediately after that he started to put bad reviews about my stores in a vindictive manner. Such a bad person. I DO NOT recommend this guy for any business. He impresses you with his slick over-confident talk, but it is all HOT AIR.
