Jamies Party Buses & Tours - Let The Good Times Roll ripoff DO NOT RENT ANY OF THEIR PARTY BUSES!! THIS PARTY BUS COMPANY WILL NOT LET YOU SEE THE BUS PRIOR TO RENTING WHY??? BECAUSE THEY ARE A RIP OFF!! AND THEY WON'T TELL YOU EITHER WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED, 2 DIFFERENT COMPANY NAMES TOO... ALL AROUND SNEAKY! Clearwater And Tampa Florida

I am writing this report because there are too many people out there that allow things like this to happen, but never do anything about it. If this is never read, oh well. But if it is, who ever reads it, hopefully they will make the right choice about this company.

I was invited to a bachelor/bachelorette party where there was a party bus that seats 32 people. I paid $30 each for myself and my husband. We stocked 2 coolers of champagne, beer, and ice to enjoy the night. Unfortunately, the night was a disaster thanks to the party bus company.

The party bus was over an hour late.... and it wasn't even the party bus we'd rented. My girlfriend, the bride, was very nice about it and mentioned there should be a break in the amount we paid due to the fact it was not the right bus AND it was late. Well, the bus sat all of us, thank goodness.... so we had to make the best out of it.. RIGHT? IT'S A PARTY!

Once on the bus, there was no working AC, there was no working radio or CD player, there was no dance pole, no strobe lights... basically it was a bus that you'd see at a retirment home that takes you to the BINGO hall! BUT HEY!! It's a party!

We all fit in it, we still were together..everyone was going to arrive safely home..... so let's make the best of it. And that's how the crew was, we were relieved that finally, after waiting for almost 2 hours, we were on the road to our destinations.

The bus had some difficulties which made us pull over 2 times..... once because the steering wheel was moving back and forth... the driver actually was swurving a bit. So he thought it was the wheels..... pulled over on a main highway and didn't see anything wrong... hmmm? Was it the driver?

The next time we pulled over it was because of a "ticking" noise.... the driver actually pulled over where a highway merges off so you can get off the road, only he stopped where the road has lines in it to seperate the merge off from the highway....... so we had cars from each side zooming by us as they were looking under the hood.... hello? Accident waiting to happen. Clearly the driver wasn't thinking safely at all.

My question is why would a party bus company send out a different bus than the original planned (the original bus broke down) that was just as bad as the first? I and others were scared about getting to our destinations safely... One of my girlfriends about tore her husband's leg off from clinching to it during the ride.

So after the 2nd stop for bus "difficulties" a girl had to go to the bathroom... remember, it's a party bus, you're drinking, no bathroom, you've got to go when you've got to go! So we found a place to stop that was probably about 15 minutes from our 1st desired destination. The bus driver turned off the bus and then tried starting it again, and it wouldn't start. So here we are, 25 people, stuck without a ride. It's raining and there's nowhere for us to stand, except for the broken down bus, but the bus was VERY HOT!! NO AC! No circulation!

We tried to be very understanding about the situation and the company would not refund our money, would not give us a break on the deal for the night, AND the owner of the company was even called by the bride and groom and he hung up on them. By now, we had a person on the bus call the police and they came... we weren't even sure if the driver had a license to drive the bus.... the bus driver started throwing up and they called another bus out to pick us up.

Needless to say, the gentlemen on our party bus FIXED the bus and got it running again, atleast the party bus company didn't have to have the bus towed. But unfortunately for us, the new bus that came to pick us up was already taken by another party and they would drop us off, go pick up the other party, then come back for us later... no time was given, just later... we also wanted to go to one other destination.... but we never made it. Actually, the bus left with all of our belongings and never came back for us. AT ALL!!!

We paid for taxis back home, without our belongings. We saved our receipts but never were reimbursed for the taxi rides.

Would you believe the ad in the yellow pages read
"YOU'LL PAY LESS.....FOR MORE, GUANRANTEED"?

The owner of the company hung up on the bride and groom many times during that night. After that night, the bride tried calling the company to get our belongings... by then she wasn't even wanting to get her money back.

When she spoke to the owner "jamie" about a refund for the night, he tried scaring her by saying that the bus had a cam corder on it and her friends were doing drugs on the bus which in return voids out the contract! WHAT? He was bluffing, we are all clean! He just figured that would be a way to get her off his back. After that she felt it was a lost cause and all she wanted to do was to prepare for her wedding in 3 days.

Later after her wedding she called them and they said they had only 1 cooler and it was in storage.. they couldn't tell her where the storage was but they would meet her in a local spot to give it back to her.... there were actually 3 coolers but I'm sure the party that got on the bus after us helped themselves to our alcohol and coolers. They were limited on time and the time they picked out to meet her was not good for her.... so she never got the cooler back.

I feel that this company has done this many other times. I called the company 4 months later to try to find out where they were located to obtain my coolers and they wouldn't tell me. Well they did tell me it's private property and no one can come see the buses because it's private property. That's a crock of you know what.

The company has 3 phone numbers, goes under 2 different company names, will not let you see the bus before you rent it........ what kind of company does that? A SNEAKY ONE! The let you see the bus on the internet... but it's not the same one you'll get!

So the moral of my story is don't rent or buy anything if you can't physically see it, always get a contract stating what you are receiving and if you do not receive it, then you should be granted your money back! AND ALWAYS! ALWAYS! CHECK OUT RIPOFFREPORTS.COM I know I do.....

If this report only helps me by letting it all off my chest, so be it... but more than likely, SOMEONE out there will read this, maybe not tomorrow or the next day, but some time in the future, and they will learn how truley a rip off this compnany is!

Thank God my girlfriend's wedding was a hit! They deserved it after what they experienced on their bachelor/bachelorette party!
