I brought into Jani-king franchise in Columbia, SC in hope for recession proof employment. These are the best con-artists I have ever saw in my life. I need a lawyer. I dont want anything to do with these people. I just want my money back that I invested in them. If anyone can help me please post me a email address. I will check the postings daily.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Do the math

AUTHOR: JMFR - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, December 07, 2009

Before you take any accounts do the math.

$3000 X 20% = 600 per month in franchise fees

Ask yourself this question. Can I clean this place for what they say I can per square foot? Can you clean 3000 ft per hour? NO! So do the math.

I would only clean at 1200 ft per hour. Don't let them tell you that you can do it faster. At what point do you tire out? A 15000ft place is going to need lots of help.

15000/3000 = 5 hrs per night X 5 nights week = 25 hours of cleaning at 3000fr per hour

25 X 15hr = 375 week X 4.33weeks in a month = 1500 (rounded)

So do you think you can clean a 15000 sq ft office 5 times a week for 1500ish a month....now take your 20%out and you now have 1200 and you still have to pay your help and supplies...you have to drive there and back. Lots of things go into the bid but make sure you ask what the cleaning rate is and what all is included. I will tell you from my the salesman is there to sell a contract and move on. Good Luck and do the math!

These are all hypothetical circumstances. You may have a labor rate above or below $15 hour. Just do the work before you do the work...ask questions and if your not satisfied don't take the account. I do feel sorry for good people that drop 20k on a dream made of air. I hope it works out for you and your family and many others that are in the same boat as you.
