Jared Wedding Band Diamonds Fall Out Weekly, So Much for 0% Financing Indianapolis, Indiana

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Stopped in to Jared with my fiance, to look for an diamond wedding band for her 2.08 Karat Princess Cut diamond.  Decided on the Harts desire setting, which contains about 1.4 Karat worth of diamonds and cost about $5,000 for the setting.  The additional diamond band was around $1,800. Very pretty setting with the main diamond.

Issues are this:

The small diamonds have fallen out of the setting on 3 occasions in 3 months.  She does not wear it doing laundry, housework, or labor.  Just typing on the computer at the office.  Not anything that should be doing damage to the ring.  So, she had 3 bands in 3 months.  After the 3rd time we asked for a different setting or our money back.  At this point, they said it had been too long.  Each and every time we went in, we were told, "we never have this happen."  The manger told me I should shake the ring and listen for rattling diamonds to see if they come loose.  Come on, really? Never heard of such a thing.  While I appreciate the three new setting, a bit ridiculous that we had 3 in three months.  They then told me to come in once a month to have it checked and tightened.  Honestly, she is not driving 45 minutes each way, monthly for this.  Design settings that need less maintenance.

Main thing was we were offered o% interest which we decided to take, since I'd rather the money in my account than theirs.  Our sales lady offered, we signed and when our bill cam in is had interest on it.  I would have stroked a check for this if I know it was going to be a bait and switch.

When we called Jared, we were then told we would have had to put a certain part down to get the zero percent.  Also told after the fact that we could not do this since transaction was complete. Jared needed to do a better job of either training the employees selling the product, or explaining to the customers.  One of the 2 did not happen.  I believe it to be first and my wife agrees as she was there, of course.

I will never recommend Jared or Kay Jewelers to anyone.  Back to my wholesaler who knows about customer service.  I should have known better than to go to a retail jewelry store.
