just got photograph confirmation that jason rashley is still at it in nashville in august 2014. he scammed a property owner at lake of the ozarks in missouri and later turned their (would be) restaraunt facebook page into what's supposed to look like a record label called Ozark Music Group. apparently he can't figure out what he wants to do there because he's made three different facebook pages called ozark music group, and a web site. his new partner in crime is a guy named jake gill - who has tried to promote himself by lieing about being on the music row charts, made false claims of his success, and purchasing tens of thousands of fake likes on facebook. jason also has new ventures apparently seeking new victim artists in nashville- those can be seen on the ozark music group facebook page (claims of prizes for a songwriter contest such as free time in a legendary studio, and $100,000 etc). he's also behind www.thisisnashvillemusic.com and www.tausa.org (which is registered with an llc attached to the man he defrauded at lake of the ozarks and uses the cover "troop appreciation usa" apparently to appear to have patriotic motives?). you can see jake gill's fake likes compiling by the thousands in this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn4MtlwGgzE, these guys sure seem to be compulsive liars and jason rashley has a history of making threats. 

I was just contacted today by Jason. He indicated he was a part of "Universal Artis Development" located at 11400 West Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90064. There is no business by that name at this address.

He called from a land line phone number of 615-924-4371. He left no message initially and I called him back. He somehow knows my band is seeking a booking agent. He says he is able to get our band playing all over the east coast. He said I needed to 'shoot' him like $400 to get things rolling, so he could show his partners that we are serious. He called again just a bit ago, but left no message.

He told me he was in Nashville at a recording studio while he was talking to me, yet the e-mail originating IP address puts that e-mail as originated from myvzw.com in Lawrenceville, GA. The phone number checked out to be a landline in Nashville, so I am not really sure where he is.

He did send me an e-mail. The domain name is www.universalartistdevelopment.com, but that domain was first set up just a few months ago, but the company supposedly has been going strong for a while.

As reported in postings from a website called www.800notes.com, a site dedicated to identifying phone numbers that scammers call from. Back in early 2008, Rashley's Ohio cell phone number appeared on this site, and victims nationwide began posting their Jason Rashley scam stories and information on his whereabouts. This information ultimately led to Rashley's arrest and incarceration. However, as you will read here, Jason Rashley was released from the St. Tammany Parish Louisiana Correctional Facility in September 2009, and wasted no time getting back to "work." He is currently on probation. Contained in these posts is information who to contact regarding any scams or fraud perpetrated by Mr. Rashley.

Jason Richard Rashley (aka Jason Rich) is staying in Bogalusa, Louisiana at Turn Around Village (http://800notes.com/awl/nb/r.ashx?ue=vcmcv5SZnFGbslmdk5WdvJXYuJXd05yd3d3LvoDc0RHa).  He has managed to rip off Nicoll's Limo for $10,000 (http://800notes.com/awl/nb/r.ashx?ue=8SbvNmLzxGbvNWau5yd3d3LvoDc0RHa).  He managed to tell Nicoll's Limo that he was a 30% owner in local restaurant (which he wasn't) and take people for rides to try and promote the place.  He got a couple of interns, which he never paid, $800 each.  He also took another limo company for another $1,000 when he could book from Nicoll's any longer.  He apparently has scammed $20,000 for a bogus concert in December at Fontainebleau State Park.  He scammed his way out of paying for lunches, dinners & drinks at three restaurants in St. Tammany Parish.  He falsifies his name so that by the time people find out his real name, the damage is already done.  He also had a website development company create a website, logo and biz cards all in the name of Iconic Entertainment Group under Jason Rich.  He tells people that he "lives" at the Westin in New Orleans in the $500+ suite for over a month.  Called the Westin to check all aliases... nothin!  Everything about Jason is a lie.  If you have any interaction with the person, do an about-face.  Jail time is near ...

Please be very wary of Jason Rashley (or anyone of a half dozen aliases he uses...Jason Whitmire, Rich, Richards, Griffin,Greggars).  He is not only a scam artist with a jail history but also dupes young girls trying to make it in the music business.  We know because he has done this to our daughter who we are desparately trying to extricate from his Svengali grip. Can anyone help?

I'm friends with one of the three girls and trust me when I say she went through a very dark time in her life after Jason.  He cost her money, a job, friends, and many other relationships.  Don't get me wrong she is certainly aware of her faults when it came to Jason, i.e. putting herself in a "relationship" with him because she is the one who had to pick up the pieces of her

Jason Richard Rashley appeared at a revocation hearing on October 23, 2008 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana for violation of probation and was...SENTENCED TO 30 MONTHS HARD LABOR.

Off the street for now - justice has been served!

Jason Richard Rashley was arrested on August 26, 2008 by the South Padre Island Police where he had been using the name Jason Griggers. He was immediately transferred to the Cameron County Jail in Brownsville, TX. http://www.co.cameron.tx.us/eagle/HTML/Inmates/ICUD0751.HTM.

In 7 to 10 days, he will be extradited to Louisiana in where he is wanted for parole violation.

Guess things were getting too hot in Nashville, so our lying fat a*s went South under guise of helping reconstruct storm-tossed South Padre Island, Texas. He made up a story about having work down there so he could get a ride from Nashville with some goodhearted people who just wanted to help and get their gas paid for.

After two nights of touch and go with at the local LaQuinta and Lattitude 26 (he had convinced a condo owner to loan him the place for a few nights), Jason Rashley (now calling himself Jason Griffin) disappeared across the bridge just before the temporary 9:00 p.m. curfew.

As of July 31, 2008 - it is possible that he is still lurking in SPI, or could be headed towards Los Angeles (L.A.) or Las Vegas.

NOTE: Jason Rashley holds a non-driving Ohio photo drivers license - we can only guess why. However, this means that he is dependent on others for transportation.

I am posting this, as to come clean with everyone reading these posts. I have spoken with, and am continuing to work with several of those recently taken by Jason, including the studio in Nashville.

For the record, I am not his son, nor related in anyway.

I met Jason while after I was hired to play bass for a band in Indiana. I spent all my money to get there, and when things went sour had no money to get home. (NOTE: the sour was not due to Jason, but to the band's own complications) He offered me an "internship" and I took it. It got me home! Once in Nashville, everything seemed honest... we went in studio with two bands, dealt with one of them for the next week. Then started booking, supposedly. I never dealt with the money, nor the booking directly, I was just a gopher, doing miscellaneous jobs, and making calls. Note also, that I have only worked and known him for ONE month. I apologize to anyone who has been affected by all this. And I feel I have been wronged more personally than anyone, because it is my name he has nearly ruined. I will be keeping up with all of you and posting.

I have contacted several authorities in Nashville, regarding Jason, as well my laptop which he so skillfully thefted from the office he cleaned out.
