I bought this unit Brand new and it's just hitting its 5th Year birthday and it's been in the shop more than I've used it. The first time I put the slide out it almost hit the ground because they didn't even secure it and the whole thing almost ripped out my whole wall of my RV. I had to bring it back to the shop and they had to redo all of the oak trim around the slide out since it ripped it all out when the RV almost hit the ground. 1.5 months without my RV my kids were so disappointed.

Now I guess during the manufacturing they cut corners and didn't use the right size diamond plate in the front of the RV unit behind the propane tanks and it popped out and I can't get anybody to fix it so now every time it rains the water is going to rot the floor and the underbelly because the rain and all the matter gets into it scorpions snakes because it's not placed the proper way during the manufacturing. Another problem with these Jayco are they use Chinese made twine for the curtains privacy shades on the windows. When you pull down The Window Privacy curtains the first time when you just bought it  they snap so you can't use the privacy curtains.

They will not go up or down they're permanently positioned in the downward position because the mechanism that makes it so they can push them up, does not work. photos provided on all the problems with this unit.

One of the main issues I have is I bought the upgraded couch which is supposed to be a leather couch? and it's some Chinese made copy that looks like leather but it's not. The first week we sat down on my couch the fake leather look alike is peeling off. The unit is beyond a LEMON.... And Jayco said they will not replace it? For Real? but if I want I can buy 2 back pillows? but it'll cost me $998.00? I mean for real?

I just spent $32,000 on this unit and you want me to spend an additional $998 for 2 back pillows because you sold me a lemon of a unit? This is a warning to anybody thinking about purchasing any Jayco product do yourself a favor don't they're only crap on wheels. Now if I owned this business? and I knew I did one of my customers wrong? I would fix all the problems and keep them happy so they'll come back and buy another unit? But not at Jayco? They just don't care once they get your money. You're on your own.

Jayco knows of this problem and they still continue to build the RVS without fixing the diamond plate from peeling off.

Jayco knows of this problem when they manufacture Jayco Jay Flight bhbe but they continue to build them knowing this is a major problem, but once they get your $32,000 they can care less: They should have recalled them and fixed this problem so the thousands upon thousands of people that Jayco manufacturing plants sold defective products too do not have to deal with this issue... So when you buy a Jayco you're going to be buying a piece of trash on four wheels.

Think twice about buying this headache. I've been trying to get mine fixed for 4 years But no Jayco dealership will repair or fix it because they don't know how to fix it and I'm continuing to have a Non-Stop issue with trying to get this repaired. So far I have placed $4,000 into fixing this RV within two years of buying it brand new from the dealership. Every time I go to a Jayco dealership they give me the cold shoulder and they are very unprofessional on helping me to fix my RV after they basically stole my $32,000 because they sold me a piece of garbage. It belongs in a junkyard.

Jayco knowingly built RVs and they knew they didn't build them properly and that this event is happening to thousands of RVs that they sold that they knew they didn't build properly. And knowing that they built them improper they did not put a recall out, because they wanted to just keep the money and let their customers that spent a lot of money on these units to pay the price. https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f7/rock-guard-coming-off-59610.html#post933053

Wish I never bought this Jayco Jay Flight piece of trash,

Every time I go to service something on my RV I find new problem's because they built this with every shortcut in the book even keep registers the screw holes are stripped the plastic is all cracked I took them out to replace them with metal ones like they should have built these units with well now I'm looking at the ductwork where they cut the ductwork short instead of bringing the ductwork up to the proper height, they finished it off with aluminum foil. I mean come on?

These things aren't worth $10 bucks never mind $32,000.00 Do yourself a favor out of the $32,000 RV I bought I spent over $7,000.00 in repairs so far I'll probably have more than 32,000 and repairs before I get rid of this piece of trash.... These Jayco Jay Flight bhbe are the worst RVs on the market. Do yourself a favor don't buy one all of these pieces are crap, avoid the headache.

(I might as well stay online) one rebuttal and something else in my Jayco broke down.

AUTHOR: John - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, December 26, 2020

I will state this: Jayco does not want to fix anything even with a two-year warranty which they don't honor. A warranty is only as good as the company backing up the garbage that they sell. As soon as I just made one report and my TV died and the TV has only used on rainy weather a probably has 7 hours of use on it and it doesn't work anymore. (Jayco needs to change their name to Lemon jay-flight).

Save yourself a big headache? don't buy a lemon called a Jayco Jay Flight bhbe.

AUTHOR: John - (United States)

I thought I was the only one that bought a lemon? Do yourself a favor and do a background check on this company... It shouldn't be in business they don't build anything the proper way. You'll throw $32,000 in the trash buying a lemon. Other comments from other Jayco buyers that got screwed: LDCM Edwards Join Date: Sep 2016 Location: Sequim Posts: 3 Jay Flight 28BHBE manufacturing issues My family purchased a 2017 Jayco 28BHBE new and have had some manufacturing issues.

I thought they were isolated to our trailer but a co-worker bought the same trailer months after us and have had the exact same issues. This tells me there may be a systemic problem with this particular model or manufacturing lot. I was wondering if anyone else had similar issues: -Shower leaks (little to no caulking)*co-worker told it was missed during the build, it's been fixed by dealer but still leaks* -Toilet leaks at base on occasion -Main door doesn't close/open or lock (holding it closed with external bar for now) *co-worker was told his door was warped, new one on order* -Front living room speakers cracking -External speakers crack -Right bedroom window leaks -Kitchen window leaks -Bedroom light is difficult to power on/off -Wood panel by bunk beds pushed in when using electrical outlet -DVD /TV interface (goes black during movie) -Keeps turning on subtitles when they're turned off multiple times -Wardrobe door left of bed doesn't close -Bedroom ceiling is sagging (probably explains light issue)*co-worker was told that the adhesive wasn't done correctly*

These are issues we've found this far. Don't get me wrong, we absolutely love our trailer but there's a lot of warranty work involved now for both my coworker and I & it's a bit of a fishy coincidence when two of the same trailers have almost exactly the same problems. I work in manufacturing & this would be a potential quality control issue. Timing has been bad for us to get the work done, my coworker has had his trailer in multiple times and it's still not fixed. We have adapted & are working around the issues as we can. We know when the trailer goes in, it will be weeks before we get it back.

Unfortunately we can't go anywhere while the door cannot be closed & locked at this point so we'll be making an appointment for the warranty work to be performed. If anyone else has experienced these on this particular model, and is there more we should be worried about, please let me know! Strange coincidence that we would both buy the "Friday" model months apart....
