J.D. Byrider/ CNAC J.D. Byrider is the Biggest RIP-OFF company in my area. Don't let them get you. Houma Louisiana

In june of 2005, me and my husband was looking for a car. As young newlyweds we didn't have credit at all. We both decied to go to JD Byrider and purchase a car. They picked out a Plymouth Neon, 1999 it had over 80,000 miles. The car was about $11,000 after finacing.

The car was running fine for about a week. My husband noticed a noise and notified the company and they said they would check it out and they did. A month later the car had a oil leak and a mechanic we know looked at the car and he noticed a knock in the moter. The company never noticed a knock in the motor and never found the oil leak we repeatily told them about. They kept the car for 3 weeks.

Later the car just shut down a numerous amount of time and on his way to word my husband waited for hours on the "road side assitance" and was repeated late for work do to Neon troubles. They found out it was a fuel after the decied to work on the car when it sat at that shop for 3 weeks. We called and called.

You know without a car he can't get to work or he had to pay people to bring him. So he didn't have many hours. The car was in the shop more than we could drive it.

We got the car back (they would call every other friday for payment) and of course the car stoped within hours the same day in a parking lot the car would not start up agian. It was night time so you know the office was closed.

The car was picked up the next morning and of couse they kept the car for month almost two. They said it was the alternater. They said they fixed it. The car stoped. The car was running in a noticable manner of the engine being loud and the exhaust had more smoke than a car should.

Someone sugested we call the lemon Law and we did. We filed a complaint and the dates we had didn't match. The Lemon Law people told us they couldn't help us But Why? Continuation on the car goikng to the shop and we continuously asked for anothe car and false promises occured.

Me and my husband was go customers to them becauses we Payed on time or to early until one day we got fed up and I put my foot down as a co-signer and told the lady not to call me for payment anymore b/c if she was a co-signer she would not pay for a broken car and she should talk to the buyer. We decied to give the car back and they tried to let us keep it and one of the employees actually told us that their mechanic fixed the car good enough for us to drive in and we need to make an appointment with Dodge.

They kept the car for 2months no lie and they called us for payment and one of them told us oh the car run so good and it was almost a year before the car was running good. A month or so went by and remember we told them we didn't want the car and we stopped paying. And they gave my husband a call and told him they sold the car for $300.

Don't be a victim. I don't even have enough room and you don't have enough time to know the complete disposition and discruction this has caused my life.
