I purchased a 2002 Ford Explorer in the late winter of 2011, and it seems as though I have recieved less than satisfactory service from the Store manager, Service manager, and to boot... The owner.  (The owner acctually hung up the phone on me today)

As a mechanic I know the importance of getting the job done right the first time and going the extra mile for the customer. On a daily basis I work on cars from 8a.m. to 6p.m. and Never have i let a car leav the shop in the condition my car left jd byriders.

They had my vehicle for over 2 MONTHS and when i got it back, nothing seemed to be fixed. it had a timing chain slap, the transmission was shifting horrible, the rear dif. was howling and in need f being replaced, the front Diff was binding (due to them putting mismatched tires on it to begin with) and there was a bad belt squeel.

i have had it back now for just over 5 weeks. The transmission is worse than it was before, the belt squeel is much worse than before, the passenger side rear manifold stud has been snapped off in the head causing the most annoying exhaust leak ever, and the front sway bar link on the drivers side is now snapped in half, along with the axels in the front being shot.

these guys have really let me down and refuse to mutually seperate. They have acctually had my vehicle more than i have since i purchased it.

Does anyone have an idea or a contact that could help???? im sick of getting the runaround.

You knew it was junk, but bought it anyway?

Let me get this straight.

You claim to be a mechanic, but you buy a vehicle with a multitude of mechanical problems?

Doesn't make sense.

Work on your credit, pay your bills, and finance something good, or pay cash for a cheaper car.

You must be fairly young as it seems you don't have the maturity or impulse control needed to make good decisions.

I assume you meant Late Winter 2010?  6 months ago?

If you are such a great mechanic, why did you buy a vehicle with so many problems?

It sounds to me like you are trying to pull a scam.

Date of purchase?

When did you purchase the vehicle? As a mechanic you certainly identified the problems at the time you purchased the "junk" car.
