The owner is a complete butthole and moron. There is nothing discounted or clearance priced about the junk they sell. 28% interest rate and ridiculous down payments. They steal from customers taking your hard earned money just to get you into their raggady cars that break down days later. They leave you stranded with no transporation and act like they never told you they would fix things that were wrong with your car when you bought it. They put this stuff in writing but its not worth the paper they write it on. The sales manager is unprofessional and a liar. They have the whole scam on lock from the car lot to the insurance man to the repair shop. Keeping the whole ripoff in the family and friends. The insurance is over priced and they make you get insurance you don't even need for the type of car you are buying. They know you are going to get mad and frustrated and give them their car back on don't make your payments because of the problems. [continued below]....
..... They try to get all this money down from you upfront. They make big money on the insurance. They tell you they will fix problems then the repair shop can never get you in to do the work or they never fix it. Its a big scam to take your money. You think you have a second chance and a good car but they know they are not right and you will be back mad. Then they just take the car and resell it to another sucker repeating this same cycle over and over. Do not buy your wife or kids a car from this place. You will regret it.

Keith Crystal threatens people who post complaints

Keith Crystal, who claims to be the owner of JDS Auto Clearance (the real owner is Judson de Sousa) says that he has NO dissatisfied customers because there are no other complaints posted about his company.  I posted complaints on several sites after he sold me a car with a faked emissions test and no catalytic convertor.  He threatened to repossess the car and ruin my credit, even though I didn't owe him any money.  He called me a b and used very foul language, and mocked me when I asked him to comply with the repairs which he had agreed to in writing.  If there are not many complaints against JDS, it is because of Keith's bullying and abusive behavior.  He was more respectful with my husband, but be warned; he extremely abusive to women.

A Satisfied Customer of JDS Auto

After reading that highly critical report concerning JDS Auto I feel compelled to present another opinion. I purchased a 2004 used auto in early January. The car had just arrived at the lot, so JDS asked for a day or so to detail the car and perform an inspection. According to the Blue Book and other research material, the price I paid was fair to very good. Of course, my car was purchased "AS IS". I drove the car home, but on the third day it wouldn't start. Needless to say I was disappointed. I called the Service Manager, explained the problem, and he was going to send a tow truck (at JDS expense) and make any necessary repairs. However, I was able to jump-start the car and get it back to JDS. George installed the old battery with a brand new Interstate, and I've had no problems starting the car. This minor issue was taken care of by JDS, I had no out-of-pocket expenses. Later, I recieved calls from the salesman, the Manager, the Service Manager and even the owner. They asked me two simple questions: Are you satisfied with your car, and are there any problems we need to address. That remarkably harsh "Rip-off Report" does not, in my opinion, describe JDS Auto Clearance. I am, indeed, a very satisfied customer.

With 40,000 happy customers, this is an Absolutely False REPORT that was filed here!

We have been in business for over 34 years and have sold more than 100 cars a month. During that time. the amount of cars we have sold is over 40,800 cars. If you do the math, we have satisfied all but this one person that complained, or could this be a competitor.  During these 34 years, this is the only report that has been filed here on Ripoff! The people that we sell cars here need assistance getting a car. So for 300.00 down we finance people with the worst credit score posible. Some of these buyers get repossessed if they fail to make payments. Some make their payments and re-establish their credit. The customers that generally will complain about their car are the ones that have been repossessed or possibly a competitor.

We obviously have a competitor that has filed this report. Just read this complaint as he attacks the owner. The owner does not make any sales. We do not sell insurance. We do not have a repair shop. The customers get a contract that they sign. Although we sell third-Party warranties, most customers choose to buy cars without a waranty. Our Customers buy these older cars with 200,00 miles in many cases without waranties and sign AS-IS Documentation assuming all risks.,,,, This whole complaint is all fabricated and MADE up!
