Jeff Howell Offered a job to retype bogus itineraries and email them to fake "customers" cash a counterfeit money order, keep a portion and forward the rest to another named person Jeff Howell identified, however, he requires a copy of the deposit slip.Uses Moneygram/CVS/Wells Fargo. He offers $230 for me to retype a word document, however the money order is fake, and it all comes back to you. looks real, i had it inspected by two banks , the police and the manger who does money grams at cvs and only wells fargo caught it. Recied a job offer from a Jeff Howell, I replied via email, in a month or so later, i recived a letter with instructions, and a money order for almost $1000.00. Was told to retype a 1 page, half written word document and forward it to another person named by Jeff Howell.

Red flag went up when i saw the work required vs pay. Also the fact that before i did any work at all he sent me the money order. -----no one pre pays strangers to type an document that is already formated and looks good to send to anyone on their own, why cut me in?

The police siad there was no crime YET, but it smelled fishy and if it was that easy everyone would do it. This I know, i was looking for a no, but no crime has been commited yet.

Took the money order to a bank, they advised me not to do it because it just didnt sound rite, they didnt catch the slight issue with the paper and the ink on the money order, went to CVS who writes money gram money orders for cash, the manger there said it looked legit, he didnt notice is was not correct either.

I then took it to wells fargo, where these things are drawn on and with in 15 minutes was told the money order Jeff Howell sent me for the "work" was counterfit.

Lets just i did get it past the first bank, i was to forward the remainder of the $1000.00 and keep my $230 in the same fashion, a money gram.

Problem is, the bank will cath it and they will come for you for the money and possibly acuse you of counterfitting.

All in all, i knew better from the beging, the only reason I reached for it is due the fact that I am unemployed at the moment, and saw the money.

If it's too good to be true IT IS people.
