Self proclaimed "watch dog" Jeff McDonald works at the San Diego Union Tribune. A news publication which has had it's fair share of layoffs earlier this year becuase of lack of revenue and other issues. Even Jeff McDonald's wife was laid off. It's no surprise, the McDonalds are a shady couple. Jeff writes stories without facts and he uses bullying tactics to scare and intimidate people. Jeff McDonald has harassed me and my wife through his countless telephone calls, emails and even threats. Jeff McDonald abuses his position as a reporter and purposely targets individuals in the public such as public figures because he knows that he can essentially publish whatever he wants without fear of being sued for libel or slander. And because Public Figures are not protected by the same laws as "regular" people, Jeff is able to fabricate stories which is then published in both the Union Tribune and the LA Times. Jeff McDonald is fearful that his future will likely be the same as his wife's so he continues to dramatize all the articles he publishes. McDonald has been outed by several other reporters and journalists as being a fraud. One reporter even called him "an angry man who will write anything just so that people will click it." Jeff McDonald is one of many new types of reporters who subscribe to opinion based fabricated stories to ensure their own job security. Jeff McDonald is unethical and a degenerate liar who will do anything to draw in clicks, because without them, he wouldn't have a job.
