Jeffrey's Auto Exchange Ripped me off with a smile on their faces Scottsburg, Indiana

I drove over an hour to Meet with sale manager JD Mills at Jeffrey's Auto Exchange to look at and test drive a truck I was interested in. It got off to a very good start, JD was very friendly and seemed like a decent person. He accompanied us on a test drive and told us of a couple of small items that would need repair along with new tires for the truck. after a small amount of haggling we settled on a price. At this point Jeffrey took over on the paper work as I paid with a cashiers check, he was nothing but smiles and friendlyness, Even having the nerve to give me a Bible as he was ripping me off.

About 3/4 of the way home a horrible noise started coming from the front of the truck and the check engine light came on, since home was only 15ish minuts away I went there instead of trying to go the 60ish minutes back to jeffrey's. I called them as soon as I got home and could pretty well tell from JD's attitude they were done with me. I took the truck to a local, trusted mechanic and in the front end alone my bill is WELL above $1,000 ON TOP of the problems they bothered to inform me about. After talking with JD a couple more times I was told they would SELL me the parts to repair the truck but other then that they are done with me, and seem to think I should have known I was getting a piece of garbage from them.

My advice would be to avoid this business at all cost they will talk about being good Christians and give you a Biblewith a smile, but the only thing they care about is your money and once they have it they are done with you. These are the kind of people that give Christians a bad name and should maybe take the time to read one of the Bibles instead of giving them away.
