Jeremy Clay came highly recommended. We loved his work. I guess that just goes to show that you cant always trust what people say.

We paid Mr. Clay a handsome sum of money based on his web site and such, and in return were delivered about 1/4 of what we were promised.   The worst part of all, was that he was over an HOUR late to our wedding. This may not sound like much to people who haven't been through a wedding yet, but it threw the whole day off. 

Next came the wedding coverage. He was constantly in the way, and created a HUGE distraction. The clergy had to pull him aside to have a "little talk" with him, which was incredibly embarassing.  I had the impress he'd been "out partying" the night before; what audacity.

I had already decided by the time the whole ordeal. But that wasn't enough... then it came time to "deliver the goods." It took us about FOUR months to even get proofs to go through. I was impatient, but figured it was normal. After doing some research, I spoke with a couple of other photographers who said that was unheard of, and that they had even heard of this person through his rude and arrogant comments on "internet photography forums."  His "references" didn't tell me about any of this, unfortunately.

When we finally got our prints, the order was wrong - WAY wrong. We tried to contact him through emails and it took about three before he finally responded. His reason was that he was "busy" - apparently more focused on his newer clients than satisfying the orders placed by previous clients, even when months past due.

As time went one, the more stern we got, the more rude he became. If this wasn't a life-time event, we would have just "cut out losses" and move on, but we had no choice - we were at Jeremy's mercy.  We asked where the remaining photos were he promised us, and were told "those will cost extra."

So now all we're left with is shoddy delivery and the possibility of small claims court to get what we were promised. That's just great - just what we wanted regarding our wedding, the most important event of our lives.

Would we recommend Jeremy Clay to anyone? Not only would we NOT recommend him for any photography services at all, we would recommend you stay very clear of this "photography" at all costs.
