Jiffy Lube 400s 677e JiffyLube, 677 E 400 S 84102, Jiffy-Lube salt lake city. Neglected to fill & or check the differential gear fluid, resulting in total failure. Salt Lake City Utah

After my transmission went out on a raod trip and getting back home I began to check out what the issues were on my Vehicle. After checking the differential fluid dip stick I found that the gear box was completely empty except for 2 table spoons full of sludge. I called the Jiffy Lube at 8013557803 or 677 E 400 S, Salt Lake City Utah 84102 and spoke with the manager. He immediately got on the defense and informed me that my fluid was full at the last Signature Oil Change, which was one week prior. I informed him, that it was empty. I then asked him if there were any leaks observed when they supposedly filled up the diff gear box, and he informed me of no leaks what so ever. I asked him, "so without any leaks, and you allegedly filling this up just one week ago... how does the fulid dissapear"? He told me, "at this point I dont have an answer for you".

So, long story short, they were in fact never checking and filling the fluid the 8 visits that I used their Oil Change service as they stated on each receipt. The manager actually hung up on me, checked my files in their computer and called me back informing me that he trains all of his employees to check this on each vehicle. Anyways.... I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT USING THIS FRANCHISE, since they will do and say anything to avoid having to pay for a mistake that could have been avoided.
