My car was taken into the store for an oil change. The car began to leak oil immediately after. I took the car back and was told the drain plug gasket was bad. They replaced the gasket. It leaked the next day. I took it back again and was told the original drain plug gasket replacement must not have worked. They replaced it again. It continued to leak. The store manager offered to come to my home to clean the oil on my garage floor. He did clean the surface oil and then told me to clean the deep stain myself with bleach. The representative from the ownership group (Mark Van Horn) who owns the store asked me to bring the car in again so he could take a look at it. When I did he claimed that the oil was coming from anything other than the drain plug. He claimed to have taken off the oil filter and examined all areas. He made multiple claims that were inaccurate and outright lies. I had filed a complaint with the corporate offices in Houston who took my complaints and recorded each. But, they continued to refer me to the store owners. When confronted with the fact that the last of four diagnosis was impossible, the manager of the store (Isiah) claimed Jiffy Lube has no idea what causes leaks or where leaks come from because oil is splashed all over an engine. So, whatever diagnosis made by Van Horn was impossible. After the oil filter was replaced on the last visit there has been no further oil leak. It is clear that the oil filter had not been installed correcty and was leaking. It is clear the diagnosis were wrong. The lies and misleadings are unforgiveable and cowardice. Countless hours and effort was expended to try and work with Jiffy Lube to resolve this matter. All were et with lies, dodging and shirking of responsibilities.
