J.K. Harris & Company Bait and Switch Houston Texas

After seeing an ad for JK Harris on tv, I went to their website. The site lists an 800 number and clearly states "Call now for your free confidential tax settlement analysis ." Not only is this misleading it is a ploy to get you to call and be strong-armed into making an appointment at one of their offices. JK Harris does not give you a free phone consultation. You have to go sit down with a salesperson who supposedly evaulates your situation, quotes a price for the services and closes the deal by getting you to sign on the dotted line.

After I made the appt., I decided that I better check them out on-line and boy am I glad that I did. When I called to cancel the appt., the appt. setter put me on hold saying that she would have to transfer me to the "cancellation" dept. LOL, what a joke. The cancellation dept. was another high pressure sales person trying to convince me to keep my appt. I told him to cancel my appt. and that I had read all of the on-line bad reviews about JK Harris. He started giving me excuses as to why people had bad experiences. Yeah right buddy. Just cancel my appt. I finally had to hang up on him.

Glad I did not waste my time and money. I am unemployed!
