I hire J.K. Harris to help with a tax problem. Robert Roberge was the agent that took my money of $1,400.00 and my power of attorney. The State of Maine was threating to put me in jail because I didn't file my last 6 returns. The state of Maine set up and appointment to resolved this issue at one of their hearing rooms. Robert Roberge said he would take care of this hearing and that I wouldn't have to go. As a result of all of the promises Robert Roberge and J.K. Harris never showed up to the hearing that he had told me the he would handle and not to worry. Because of his neglect I was sent to jail for 5 days and had to pay fines in the amount of $1300.00. Also I ended up paying $10,000.00 with penalties and interest on $3300.00 that I had only owed the state. J.K. Harris never filed my taxes at all as they promised. I ended up paying someone else to file the taxes for the some of $1300.00 to file my taxes J.K Harris nevered filed at all. After I refused to pay the balance to J.K. Harris for not filing the returns on time. J.K. Harris put my name into a collection agengcy and filed a report with the credit bureau. Now I can't get a loan for a new house because I have a tax lein on my credit report that should have been resolved by J.K. harris.
