John at Blue Oval Industries Poor quality fitting carbon fiber mirrors and very very poor customer support Virginia

Long story short, I purchased carbon fiber mirrors for my 2014 Roush Mustang. When I got them, the look and finish was good but little did i know, the fit would be a nightmare. I followed the instructions and according to the instructions, I was supposed to be a direct swap from factory to carbon fiber using your original factory internals.  So, I contact blue oval letting them know my issue and immediately John shuffles me off to APR where they were made.  Peter at APR gives me this lame solution to make the mirrors fit.  This solution would have caused water leaks into my car because the factor seal would no longer seal with this new solution.  I emailed both APR and John at B.O (blue oval) to let them know this solution was not acceptable and it would compromise the integrity of my car.  Got no reply from them.  John never offered to send me an exchange pair, never came back with a solution etc.  So, I spent several hours carving up the internals of the carbon fiber mirrors and modifying my original car parts to make the mirrors fit the way they are supposed to.  Many people don't have the fabrication abilities to make certain things work.  In this case, fabrication should not have needed to be done.  After I spent several hours dealing with this and got them installed I decided to contact John at BO.  I spent the next 10 emails listening to him tell me how dumb I was, I don't know better than the manufacturer who made the parts and if I modified the carbon fiber in any way that voids the warranty.  That much I knew.  His replies were nothing but rude, insulting and condescending.   

Do not buy from this company ever.  Also, watch out for Yates automotive.  I believe it's his last name under a different store front.  I don't think he has one item in stock and much if not all is drop shipped from other vendors.  Bad business.
