Several years ago we met with John Bahen from the TD Private Wealth Department of the TD Bank Ottawa office to discusss our financial portfolio. As my husband had only briefly known John Bahen from the community we live in, we did not know much about John Bahen yet, much to our undoing. Although I wanted to have our money go into a diversified portfolio of stocks, funds and so forth, John Bahen strongly recommended gold.

Although I made it clear to John Bahen I wasn't inetrested in putting our money into gold, he kept naming and referring a friend and colleague of his that's considered the biggest expert in investmenting in gold and basically insisted we put our money in gold and not into stocks or a diversified portfolio like we wanted todo. Not only has gold consistently went down since and worth much less these many years later, but had we placed our money in a portfolio like we wanted to do, we would have doubled our money at least twice by now.

I later learned that John Bahen's so called expert is a very, very close friend of his and that they travel and spend a lot of personal and business time together. It was also learned that John Bahen and his so called expert did very well over time by having us and many others put their money into gold. John Bahen will put his clients money into a program or portfolio that will pay him the greatest return and not his clients.

John Bahen will look at you and pretend to care about his clients money and say how that's his main prioroty etc..., but he weill always, always look after himself first. This has caused my husband and I to have many arguments over the years and we should have listened to the advice from so many others in our community warning us about John Bahen and how he continuously lies to people, his clients and anyone that let's him handle their money.  DO NOT TRUST JOHN BAHEN WITH ANY OF YOUR MONEY!
