John Cassamento Greg Cass, John Panck, International RV and Boat, International Motor Sports Sold car on ebay with out signed transfer, no brakes, rusted out trunk, rusted frame mounts battery held in with a strap, Ormond Beach Florida

I purchase a 1969 Buick Skylark from what I thought was a company called INTERNATIONAL BOAT AND RV 2726 butts rd Ashville, NY 14710 . from a guy I thought was Greg Cass. After talking to Greg he made me feel comfortable that the car was in excellent shape and that he had just driven it over 350 miles. We talked I believe twice or perhaps three times before I purchased the car from him. He explained to me that he owned one of the largest RV and boat dealerships in Florida and had a car collection valued at over 2 million dollars. he sent me pictures. I asked him about a title, a bill of sale and a mileage document for the car and he said they were no problem, the second time i talked to him I again stated that I needed a title, mileage statement and that I also needed a Bill of sale and again he said it wasn't an issue.

Based on this I purchased the car and wired the money to Greg Cass’s account.

The first time I began to realize I had an Issue was when I called him  and said that my insurance company (Allstate ) required me to have a picture of the motor and first he called me a liar saying no insurance company would request this I was out of my mind, then he just refused the request. At this time I asked for a picture of him, the title and a newspaper and he again refused and said he had overnighted the title. I received this text from him the next day. "Title was sent out 8/23 Sat. two day priority, tracking is 9114901189866698801" this is his text verbatim. What came was what appears to be a copy of a Transfer from the state of New York From many years ago in some-one else  name and address, a Scott Henderson.

No mileage document, No Bill of sale. I called Greg and he said I got what I got and that was all I was getting and in the state of New York a transfer is all you get for a ten year old car and that a guy like me should know this""""!  I was really concerned by now. I reread his description and called him and he assured me the car was in excellent condition, near flawless and could be driven back to Indiana if i wanted.

Now the rest of the story ; what I found out was the money I thought I wired to Gregg at international Boat and RV didn't really go to this name it went to a company called Casa International motor sport INC.  389 Ormond Fla, with John Casameento as president with tax id # 2023*****

Since then I found out that Greg Cass Is an alias or Robert is letting him use his account, for Robert Panek on eBay ( reregistered ebay name, Not sure who this is?) from Ormond Fla. which is not who I wired the money to nor who's name is on the copy of the transfer. and that the address I was given to pick up the car may be someone else house.

Whew! I called "Greg" and said that because the paper work was not correct and what he verbally and texted ( Title) promised me i would rather call the deal off and that I would absorb my shipping cost and his and ship the car back, he said it was a non refundable car and that we were thru talking and he hung up. All I want is my money back and I will ship him back the car.

I then received what he called an excellent car with only 11,000 miles on it . The car showed up with Florida plates on it. ( so now I have a car with a New York out of date transfer, not signed and a car with Florida Plates ) and now the odometer numbers don't seem to line up.

It is (see his ad on ebay 18149609**** ) no wonder he won’t take it back I have pictures of all the issues, It doesn't run (no breather,no PVC valve ect..,The front brake almost caused an accident it locks ups so hard,  it has rust at the frame mounts, paint is flaking off in at least 4 large spots, the trunk bottom has been fiberglassed, where the frame and gas tank were exposed and the brakes are non-existent and lock up, the front bumper is loose and has no brackets, the lighter at sometime in the past had caught on fire. The new interior is horrible and has mold and the top that he says is new has mold all over the inside.the battery has no box or hold down just a strap holding it in, sitting on the frame. I can go on and on  and I have pictures.

Again I asked "Greg " for my money back and he refused . I then asked him to relist the car and resell it this is his response.

Sorry you are not happy with the car.

I am in Florida at my home here and cannot relist a car that is located  in Indiana and I am in Florida and I do not have title (title not transfer) for.

I could not do so if I were in my home in New York.

If you are not happy with the car I suggest you relist it yourself.

I would be happy to pay listing fees to sell the car.

(This is what he did in the first place because he sold me the car as he was traveling from New York to his "home" in Florida by motor home.)

Notice he uses the word title again. A title and a transfer are not the same according to "Greg"  SEE ABOVE  at """".

Also the car came to me with a Florida plate on it so is registered in Florida also or is the plate on the car illegally?

 Just the paper work is a mess and we really haven't talked about what a piece of junk the car is.

or that the car odometer that he claims is 11000 miles is all out of kilter and has evidently been messed with!

Now I have done more research it appears that "Greg has done this on eBay at least 6 times and he has learned to do private sales so you can’t contact other buyers to see what the issue was. If you goggle and yahoo, Greg john Casamento as any of these names you will get a list of lawsuits .( look at ripoff report 191269 titled compliant review greg- john casamento/ brenda casamento as one example.

I would like to suggest that eBay contact these people and see what really happened and i would venture it is similar to my experience.

If eBay chooses not to contact them,  I would like to request the names,  if "greg or eBay doesn't resolve this then I will have to bring suite against him and to have those peoples contact info would help.

it is also my understanding that eBay removed this man from eBay at least twice once in 2006 and again in 2011. if eBay had stopped him from accessing the site for at least the third time i would not have this issue! I revieived emails to this effect.

•         the car was not anything as described, this seller should be banned from ebay o***1 ( 10)         

  these are all qualified ebayers held in good standing unlike this Gregg Character!

   

  Here is the last email I received from Greg when I was trying to resolve this.

  “Sir,
  Contact whom ever you wish. I am not intimidated by your threats and have no concern what so ever of your fraud issue.
  If you need any of the agency phone numbers you mention in your email feel free to contact me for them.
  I have made my intentions very crystal clear so you don't have to wait until 2 pm on Tuesday to make your move.”

   If you have had any experience with this guy on ebay or off ebay please contact me and perhaps we can do something. I am filing a civil suit in Voulsa COunty Fla. next week
