Mr. John Cavanaugh of ECC Courier has not paid me for services rendered from months ago. He is forcing me to take him to court. He is emotionally unstable.
After paying me a month late with a check, I had written him asking to be paid so he canceled payment on that check and refused to issue another one. I reported this to the police but he told them I had not turned in paperwork so it became a civil matter. He has a reputation for doing this sort of thing and is well practiced at it.
My first week in his employ, he lied to me 3 times about the number of employees he had. I thought it dumb and should at least keep citing the same number. I did a route for 3 days and when done, he told me it paid less then we agreed on. He called me on South west cargo land line screaming at me that I had not picked up my cell. He went on for several minutes so loud the agent could hear him from several feet away. It turned out he had mis-dialed my cell number.
He is a screamer and tries to bully. (unless you yell back and he gets sullen. Emotional issues. I only mention this due to his unpredictable behavior could lead to altercations)
The check he did not make right was short by several hundred dollars. (and of course no good)
I am now off to pursue legal actions against him. Costing me time and money when this is a simple case of "just pay your bills"
He will proudly tell you only one employee has complained. This is not the case.
His name, John Cavanaugh East coast courier, brings up some interesting reading and I will know better and look some one up before trusting them.
