in the mid 1990s summertime, 1980s on up my friend & I did bring scrap metals to john clark. my friend & I did bring a block of .999% pure gold aproximent weight of 1,204 pounds 1 foot square cube maybe 14" square. the block 'itself "leveled" the rear lief springs or my 1976 scottsdale pu truck my friend and I used a dolly and a hand wench to get it into the pu. i brought it to john clark jr scrap yard located in a 'woodded area' in chelsea, me. his 'first location he said he needed a week to check it out, then a week later he claimed it was loaded up with cheap metals. so, we took his word on it, I wondered why he never gave us any paperwork to say the weight of the item in question or the

value of item, date or anything? i't was very odd! because, back in the 1970s the state of maine wanted these scrap buyers to keep ""dated records"" of each and every thing he bought. "this was the only time he didn't do that!" "for a very good reason!" "my guess is he wanted it all to himself!" "and so, I went to key bank in augusta, me downtown location, it took the bank one half hour to come back with the figures of the block of gold by weight of 1,204 pounds they told me in the mid 1990s gold was selling at: $25,000.00 a pound this was 1,204 pounds so I came up with the net worth of: $30,100,000.00 the calculater showed that amount! drove up to the couple's apartment they rented off him, and he told them 'I'll be gone for a few weeks then I'll be back. watch the place and don't allow anyone in! I locked it all up!" so, when he got back he bragged to them he bought a ""loaded mansion in florida" with some of the gold that I brought in to him." i got theit phone # here, and they told me they saw what I brought in to John clark jr, and they saw it was a block of gold they knew what it was, the only thing i had in the back of the pu truck, and clark jr ""bragging"" what it was as well! also he now owns an antiques furniture shop/store in chelsea as well, and what else? and I'll bet my last dollar,, he paid -0-taxes on that

gold in maine or maybe federal tax either. I'll bet he only paid tax on that ""loaded mansion in florida"" that's it!" "only, a guess but, if he was audited from the very first day he started that business on up to today.. guess what that would show?
