John Paul Chidgey Jr. Attorney Fort Worth Texas He never filed a notice of appearance to represent me as a grandmother in Juvenile court in the 323rd district Court Fort Worth, Texas. He showed up to court, but never got anywhere with Judge Jean Hudson "Affluenza" Boyd. He then lied to me that he had spoken to Patricia Summers, the Guardian Ad Litem, and all I needed to do was get a psychological evaluation and they would give my grandchildren to me in Utah. This attorney, John Paul Chidgey never even filed a notice of appearance. He never filed any paper work on the case. When I got the psychological evaluation, which was very very expensive, he said I did not get it in on time. In reality, he was helping Judge Jean Hudson "Affluenza" Boyd to adopt the children out for massive federal funding dollars. You see, Boyd terminated parental rights, and then sat on all of the boards of the adoption agencies in Tarrant County Texas, collecting all of the fedral funding dollars that came in. I filed in federal court and now am filed in the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals to get my Constitutional rights to get my grandchildren. I think the man should be tarred and feathered. If the Texas State Bar will not protect us, then we need to sue the Texas State Bar. I called this man today, and the foul language was amazing. The fact that this imbecile is even allowed to practice law just goes to show that nothing is taken seriously.  He is about as competent as my toddler. 

Where to even begin is hard to decide.  For starters, when I was initially "lawyer shopping" I met with many attorneys.  Narrowing it all down to decide the fate of my situation.  When I met with them, they invited me to their office and sat with me in an office setting.  Reviewed everything I had pertaining to my case, and let me know what the next steps would be. 

I know that attorney's are nothing more than overpaid sales people.  They sell themselves to you, and then sell themselves to the court.  I get it.  So, upon meeting Mr. Chidgey, let me just start by saying I was a young, easily influenced, single mother at the time.  (10+ years ago)

He asked me to meet him in a bar.  Yep, you read that right, a bar, like the kind that serves drinks and occasionally food.  I agreed, again, I have no excuse for myself.  This SHOULD have been my first red flag.  His fees were much lower than all the attorneys I had met with.  Being a young single mother, this was something I had to take into consideration.

When I hired him it got even weirder.  I would ask to meet with him and try to get the address to his office to sit down with him.  He would NEVER let me come to his office.  Instead he came to my house.  Again, no excuse for myself.  SHOULD have been red flag number 2. 

When we would go to court hearings, he would always have a stupid excuse as to WHY nothing was resolved.  In our second hearing, he came to the lobby and told me that the other parent had gotten married.  He did this to make his home look more stable than mine.  He tells me I need to go find someone to marry and get married within two months.  Before our next hearing.

It just kept getting weirder and weirder.  So, eventually he and I have a falling out.  He comes to my house and tells me if I don't get married to someone I would lose my kid.  I disagree and tell him to move forward regardless of my marital status. 

This point he gets hostile with me.  He begins cussing at me and insulting me.  This is in MY HOUSE!  I eventually make him leave, he goes.  I filed a greivance, which did nothing.  I really wanted some of my money back.  That never happened.  I had heard that his license was suspended, which was great news.  He got it back apparently and he is practicing law again. 

No matter what is said about him or to him, he will always blame the clients.  It is never his fault.  Now that I am older and more educated in this.  I know what I did wrong.  I trusted this joke of an attorney.  It would be nice if one day someone would finally revoke his license and he would never be allowed to tear another family apart. 

Deborah, I am sorry that you had a similar experience, and I hope that you also lived and learned from it.

Attorney John-Paul Chidgey of Fort Worth; repeat offender   The state of Texas presented John-Paul Chidgey with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Texas Wesleyan University Law School.   John-Paul has taken two bites from the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree over the past couple of years. John-Paul’s misconduct is as follows: Neglected a client’s legal matter entrusted to him (lazy) Failed to appear at a pretrial conference on behalf of a client (abandonment) Also failed to appear at a final hearing on behalf of a client (abandonment) Failed to keep client informed of the status of her family law matter Failed to provide a response to the ethics complaint as required Refused to provide requested information to the ethical investigatory panel In Jun 2011, John-Paul received a fully probated two-year suspension 06/01/11 – 05/31/13) for engaging in misconduct   As a consequence of his second bite at the Misfit Apple Tree, the sympathizers for Attorney Misfits punished John-Paul by gifting him with yet another two-year fully probated suspension. Put simply, John-Paul received absolutely no punishment whatsoever.   Is it any wonder that most Texans have total contempt for the Legal Industry and especially in regards to the manner in which it punishes dishonest and/or incompetent attorneys?   As we speak (ca. April 2012) Johnny continues to practice law at 6777 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Forth Worth, Texas.

 The person that has filed this action has not told the truth in her story and is a bold face liar. She reports her name as Sandy as the author of the story yet she says that she is Deborah Lynn Connor in her report. She failed to pay the fees she agreed to pay in this case. She filed paperwork with the court that made racial slurs and degradations against sexual orienations of the officials involved in the court proceedings, including the judge and the attorneys and the case workers, which has nothing to do with the fact hat her daughter and son in law abused their children to such a degree that they were in danger. She actually blames everyone but herself for being responsible for what she did. She wanted to give her abused and neglected grandchildren back to the abuser. She is not safe. She manipulates the facts and leaves out information. She is a deceptive individual and if you don't agree with her, then she will try to use her position to manipulate others against you. She is currently in hiding and will not provide an accurate address of where she is currently living. Any address she provides, it is inaccurate and/or flat out wrong. How can you trust a person like that?
