I contacted John Pina from the advice of my child's school. It was the biggest mistake I ever made in my life. There were problems between my ex and myself and my child and he was caught in the middle with alot of anger towards his mom and then me.  Me ex and I contacted John Pina for what was supposed to be FAMILY therapy and the first converstation sucked. When John Pina  thought I was off the phone, he started advising my childs mother that my child should not visit me.

I complained to her about this and to him as well.  After a few e-mails back and forth between John Pina and myself where he made up all these untrue statements with nothing to back them up, he agreed in writing to me that he would no longer be seeing my son. So I went off and started looking for another therapist that would listen to what I was saying, and each time I found one my ex would say that she did not want that one.

I found out later that this wretch of a human being john Pina was seeing my son behind my back WITHOUT my permission. I have joint legal custody and he was NOT supposed to be doing this. When I called him up and confronted him, he said that, he would be more than happy to give me the number of the board of psychology, and that if I did file a report that he would "make sure I would never see my son again" hinting at  his power over my child. He said that no one would believe me.

I have the emails to prove this.

By doing what he did, he undermined my ability to try to calm things down between my child and myself.

My child was a loving child, he loved his step sisters, and he would always tell them that he loved them and was very concerned about them. He always wanted to see them and he was very affectionate towards them

Since he has gone to John Pina he has not seen his sisters in 3.5 years and he does not call them. He has told me that John Pina says that you are a sociopath, and that John Pina says you are crazy. The fact is that when you are in a situation like this with alot to lose you do not want some creep causing a further division in your family and teaching your child that you can lie to your father and do things behind his back.

John Pina is a family rapist. He puts up pictures of his family on the internet and acts as though he is just this great family man. Well I do not care how many people write what a great guy he is, and I am sure he will try and have people do this, I want to tell people my end of the story. I should have sued him, but I was sick, and I could not find a lawyer to take the case. He had an enormous amount of control over my child and I can tell you that this man is dangerous to your family, especially when he decides that he is going to play sides and see your child behind your back without your knowledge and encourage your child to lie to you about it.

I have reported him to the board of psychology but that is not enough. People need to know what a monster this guy is, and to never ever use him. It is not worth losing your child over.

My daughters are damaged as well, they have not seen their brother for almost 4 years now and they do not know what to do. Thankfully Ed Magdeson has made this website so that people can tell the truth.
