JOHN ROBERT POWERS, RALEIGH, NC The company used a delaying tactic in order not to refund our money1, 450.00, when we decided not to pursue. We kept on calling almost everyday but all they have is answering machine and they never return our call. When we get hold of them, they say "it was already forwarded to the main office, or either, they will follow up, etc.etc. One staff was also rude to us. RALEIGH North Carolina

We first heard their advertisement in the radio and my daughter got all excited. We went to Raleigh to audition and they gave us a packet to study at home, it turned out the John Robert Power is a training school for "wannabe" actors, model and actress, in contrast with what the advertisement was saying on the radio. We were instructed to call the next day to confirm if my daughter passed the audition, which she did. My daughter was very happy and wanted to go on.

The company gave us a contract saying that if we retract, a part of the money will be returned to us within 21 days (if they recieved a certified letter in the mail that we are cancelling the contract) except for the registration fee of $500.00 (which is a lot of money), we signed the contract because our daughter was really interested.

The next day, we changed our mind and sent the certified letter to the company. We waited for 2 weeks and called the compan. All they have is answering machine, for 3 consecutive days I left a message but never got a call back. Until finally, I got hold of the Director/Manager and said that he will follow up. It is more than a month now and my husband never stopped calling without success. I think they are purposely avoiding our calls because they don not have plans to return our hard earned money.

I hope nobody will experience what we had, these company is a money sucking company which does not really care about their clients, all they want is OUR money.
