I met this person name Alison and contact no. 818-473-0560. Email ID alisonwhit4@gmail.com on roomster.com where i was looking for renting the apartment near by my workplace which is located at 480,King street called the alexandrian hotel .

I am a victim of Housing scam on roomster.com that happened on 19th february 2018 where person asked me for the code to be forwarded to her in form of i tunes gift card for the worth of 1100 $ instead of wiring the fees as she told me its convenient and this was in two
forms . One security (550) and other rental (550).

I have been trying to reach help and support team of this website but no one's responding there.

It was my first time that i visited usa here and this thing happening is really not something that i expect but since it happened . I tried to reach the owner of website on the number but however there is no one respondong on the phone and call just diverts to voicemail. 

Be aware people of this fraud wensite and this is something which every one of us need to take care of . 

I hope no one get scamed housing scam with especially from this website because most of the times their are only fraud people selling rooms on the webiste.
