I inquired about a job he had on sexyjobs.com. I was interested in the opportunity.

On sexyjobs you can let your resume be live for all employers to see or you can hide it so only the companies you contact about jobs can view it. My resume is hidden to screen offers.

So after sending him a nice inquiry about the job, this is what I got from him/John: You screen employers? You're acting like a boss. I hire people who need work and money and appreciate the opportunities I provide, sorry.

First off all, I did NOT appreciate that and that was VERY insulting! What does screening employers have to do with making it seem like someone does not want to make money or does not appreciate opportunities?

THAT was why I was inquiring to him about a job because I need a job and want to make money! Doesn’t he understand that???

Just because I screen employers does not mean I am a boss or not interested in or don’t appreciate opportunities! What does screening employers have to do with anything? So what if I do?

So I don’t understand his reply or that he won’t hire me because of that. It makes no sense at all and don’t even know what he is talking about. That really is stupid.

Someone nicely asks him about a job and he insults them by saying that? I don’t see what a model who screens employers has to do with it making it seem like someone doesn’t want to make money or does not appreciate opportunities. And why does he think they inquired to about the job in the first place, obviously because they need and want a job and want to make money and were interested in doing their opportunity.

I wonder what his problem is if someone screens offers on sexy jobs or not. I wonder what gives him the right and who he thinks he is to judge or talk to someone like that because of it.

I wonder if he even knows what it means to screen offers? Well It means a model can and has a right to have her profile viewed only by companies/people she contacts first, which she does because she is interested in working with that particular company/person, like she was with that guy, obviously  because she liked his opportunity and wanted a chance to do it. Companies should take that as a compliment.

He would only hire someone if their profile was viewable to all the employers? Makes no sense to me. His only concern should be if they are interested in the job and give them a chance to do it.
