I signed up for the VOIP phone service and received the modem from the company. Because they are unable to transfer my number, I cancelled the service without even using the service. They charged my credit card $441.45. I called and sent email, they assured me that the refund is on its way. I have called at least 10 times but the answer is always be: we will refund your money but don't know when.

The charged on my credit card was on 12/4/2007. They received their modem back on 1/14/08. Until today, no money was ever refunded to my credit card.

The Lucia signed up for service on December 4th 2007, and was happy with the quality of the service. Lucia was so happy with service that she chose to upgrade her account to 2 JoiPhone Unlimited lines for 2 years. Lucia signed a contract to stay with JoiPhone for 2 years and in return received 50% off discount.

Lucia wanted to port a number in to JoiPhone, JoiPhone sent the request to Lucia old carrier. The old carrier REJECTED the move of the number because the old carrier claimed the name and address of the ported numbers did not match their record. JoiPhone on December 20th 2007 requested Lucia to send them either a current phone bill or CSR showing her name is on the bill, the customer refused. On Mon Jan 14 15:48:52 EST 2008 JoiPhone received back the customer adapter. All customer joining JoiPhone have 30 days money back guarantee, even when choosing a long term contract. The customer used JoiPhone service for over 30 days, and over 1000 minutes.

Even though Lucia broke the contract, JoiPhone did issue a refund to her totaling $426.50 The only money JoiPhone did not refund to customer is the $15 FedEx shipping of the JoiPhone equipment.
