On February 18th, 2015 I purchased a website from TL Enterprises in the United Kingdom.  The agreement was to buy a website that was producing between $900 US and $1200 US in net income a month and had around 2500 visitors a month.  We made the transaction through escrow.  TL Enterprises, Josh Bainbridge, was the person I was dealing with.  He was suppose to transfer the domain name to my godaddy account and set the website up in my hostgator account.  He did send the domain name to my account but kept the nameservers pointing to their servers.  He did not transfer any of the website files to my hosting account.

This was my first website ever to buy and trusted him to do what he said he was going to do. I thought everything was done correctly because Josh told me everything was transferred.  He sent me the login information for the website and it worked so I thought it was on my hosting service.  A few days later I added Google Analytics to see the traffic coming to the website.  There was no traffic, the website was dead.  I emailed Josh and he said that he had 3 sales before transferring the site to me, He sent me a marketing plan and told me to do what was in the plan.  I read through his very generic marketing plan and it was for someone that was experienced in this type of business.

Before I purchased the website I told him I had absolutely no experience in websites, he told me it was for newbie’s.  His marketing plan was to do ads on other websites and make posts about website traffic on Warrior Forum. You have to have a lot of website knowledge to do this.  I tried multiple times to get him to help me because I did not know how to do the posts and ads. He would not help.  He would not respond to most of my questions.  One time he sent me an article about blogging, which was no help at all. He has been suspended from Flippa.com because of his questionable practices; this is where he sells websites.

I contacted Graham Little (co-worker) and he will do nothing because he wants to keep the money and stand behind his employee. He said I fabricated this story.

About 2 weeks after having the website, the website disappeared.  The domain name was being redirected to another website and they would not help me.  Josh finally admitted that the website was being directed to their old servers, but would not help.

The website I bought I do not have the files for so all I have is the domain which is worth $10 US.  They took $900 US and will not give a refund for their poor business practices.
