For years I did business with Jovani Fashions until all of a sudden they closed my account for selling online.  Ironically my store is an online store, so how else am I supposed to sell their gowns.  They were also well aware I was an online store as the website was listed on my order.  They closed the account ONLY after sending me my stock order. This left me with no way to get reorders for customers and in a bind to sell the original stock pieces.  Most dresses come in 10 sizes and 3 colors.  So the odds are 1/30 that I have the correct dress for the customer.  Last year in September 2014, at the Chicago Mart Abraham stopped and asked me to write an order claiming they had made a mistake.  I declined after the horrible way my company was treated.  Then this year in October at the Chicago Mart, Abraham approached me in front of several associates and begged me to pick up his line.  I explained the horrible customer service and treatment and he said they knew they were wrong and they were sorry and wanted us back as a customer.  I was standing at the elevator about to leave the market.  The next day I went over to Jovani’s booth and reluctantly wrote an order for 19 gowns and ONLY after I signed the order I was told that I could not sell online.  Although once again my website was listed on the order and they were well aware that I am an online store.  I immediately stated that would NOT work and that I needed to speak to Abraham.  He was with customers but I instructed Maria not to place my order until I spoke to Abraham.   After market I never heard from Abraham, but received an email from Maria they wanted to ship gowns on October 26th. I responded that I was not going forward with a relationship with Jovani unless I had it in writing I could sell online, after all I didn’t approach you all at the market, your company had stopped me.  I have emailed several times since with no response and called as well with no response.  On November 4, 2015 without authorization Jovani shipped gowns and billed my credit card.  Needless to say, the package was shipped back refused and credit card charges disputed.

A relationship with Jovani is NEVER a two way street.  Their customer service is horrible and they love to ship gowns that aren’t on the order.  The package they just sent me had a dress in it that I did NOT order. Shady business practices to say the least.  Prior to doing business with Jovani ask yourself if you truly need Jovani to be successful.  My answer was simple.  NO!
