Jubilee Financial aka Heritage Financial ripoff business Downey California

We too have been very concerned about our interests in this company. We started almost 2 years ago when it was Heritage Financial.

When we started with them we paid the Set up fee of $199.00, the Enrollment fee and their monthly fee. Within 2 months we shelled out almost $3000. To our avail they up and moved offices and changed names, and had ZERO contact with us for almost 2 mos. Of course all the while pulling $800 out of our checking account via automatic withdrawl each month.

When we finally got into contact with them after they sent us a statement...I realized that the $3000 that was in the account before they moved was no longer in there. They told me that that was for retainer or Lawyer fees. (to pay their lawyer to handle our accounts.)Bull**** they stole it.

Well steamed as I was, I put that part to rest because over the next 3 mos. we settled on 3 of our 6 accounts. I was relieved.

We still had 3 more accounts to deal with and at the time we were fortunate enough to have some great parents come through with the balance to settle on the last three. So I told our representative to go ahead and settle we are ready to pay off all 3 accounts and finally be debt free.

Nothing....nothing for weeks. Months later. I finally got through. She said that since it had been barely a year since we started the program the creditors werent ready to settle. I accepted that and realized that I am not putting anymore money into this trust account.

I have the money to settle why won't they settle? Why do we pay such a hugh retainer or Lawyers fee if they won't settle? WHy? Because they want that 25% every month.

So I decided to contact the remaining creditors myself and try to settle myself.....GUess what? It works. They are very kind and willing to work with you.... Guess what else? The creditors that were remaining had not had any contact what so ever with anyone in the Jubilee organization. So now that the interests was not halted (which the lawyer should have done first)Our balances are beyond belief.

They have not contacted any of my accounts that I can't settle on yet and it has been more than 2 years. Why in the hell do we pay these people? Why in the hell do we pay a $3000 lawyer fee? When we can do it ourselves.

WOrd of advice..you CAN cancel that Automatic withdrawl payment and mail your payment in manually....and your name is on the trust account also You have every right to get into that account as they do. Protect your money people GET YOUR MONEY AND GET OUT!

SO NOW WHERE IS THE $3000 THAT WAS IN MY ACCOUNT TO START OUT WITH? I want it back.
