The commercial for the four wheel friction reline is just a scam to get you in the door. I have a new 2002 Toyota Corolla and brought it to Just Brakes instead of the dealership since I thought it was cheaper. I went in for routine maintainence on my brakes (changing pads only). No sqeals or other sysmptoms. Let them know that

I was just wanting the four wheel friction re-line advertised for 98.99. Then they took everything apart and told me that the rear cylinders were leaking. Since I am still under warrantey I told him to ignore it and just change the pads. he then told me that they can not reuse the "shins" and i have to buy these for them to do the brake job. (29.95) so now the four wheel friction relign that is advertised as 98.99 is about 130.00.

Since they can't do the brakes without these then it should be adverstised as four wheel re-line for 130.00. When I brought the car to the dealership. I was informed, and shown, that some one had sprayed the fluid on the cylinders in attempt to get me to have them "rebuild" them. I was shown the spray marks surrounding it and that the cylinders were just fine.

When I went, I brought my sister and was explaining the importance of routine maintainence on brakes. I informed her the last time I went to Just Brakes with just a squeal on my other vehicle I had to have the Calpiers rebuilt, new rotors, and cylinders rebuilt in addition to the pads I originally came in for. which was over 600.00 dollars. The man looked up and laughed and said, "Yeah, we love those here." Just seems fishy that he knew exactly what I was talking about when I went to another location for that job. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!
