Just Breaks Almost Hurt My Kids! ripoff, un-needed work and unfinished work Alpharetta And Dunwoody Georgia

I was driving around in my older Volvo during a lunch break from work. My breaks were making a scraping noise. I decided to stop into a Just Breaks in Alpharetta and have them look at it. It was just before Christmas. I went in and waited about 2 hours.

The first mechanic called me out and told me that nothing was wrong with my breaks and that my pads were new and they just needed to get a little more worn down, he showed me the new pads. He told me to go to an auto store and get a little more fluid. I saw the manager and he told me that the mechanic was an idiot and that he didn't trust him, so HE had to take a look. He said as a father himself he knew it was important to be safe.

The manager called an assistant manager out and the determined that I needed new pads, front and back and my roters needed to get put into the machine. He said that the pads were worn from heat. I agreed not knowing anything about breaks. This process took another 2 hours.

They tell you that it's the low price of 99.00 but then they have to throw in labor and oh yeah, they don't have the cheaper pads so we have to get new better, special pads, more money, but not to worry, all work would be covered under a warrenty! It ended up cpastin 300.00 plus dollars. I left tired and confused. Ir was Christmas after all.

About two months later, my breaks start to make the same noise again, and now it shakes when I try to stop. Knowing that it is under warrenty, I go to the Just Braks in Dunwoody on Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. Again I am told to wait. I had 2 children under the age of 5 with me. We waited 4 and a half hours and I am taken out and given the bad news that I need 800.00 worth of work and that only about 140.00 is covered under my "warrenty."

I told them to go to hell and put my breaks back on so we could leave. They did and as I got in the car to drive home, my breaks were now making MORE noise and clicking etc. I drove straight to the ---- mechanice behind the Just Breaks and had them look at my car. They were beside themselves when the put the car up.

Knowing I had 2 kids the "nechanics" at Just Breaks Dunwoody put my breaks on but never screwed them down of on....they were hanging in there! I was mortified. The mechanics said that Just Breaks have screwed up many of their Volvo's. He said, they grind the roters wrong for Volvo's and in about 2 months, they make noises. They were right! They could have killed my children! I will NEVER go there or near there again. Please please stay far away.
