kal-care enterprises Lairs, Liars, Liars!!! irwindale, California

I worked for Kal-Care Enterprises and they sale Kirby vacuum cleaners.  I went out in the field to shadow (watch their demonstrations) some experienced kirby dealers.  The people I watched pressured the potential customer from the moment they were invited into the peoples home.

If they happened to make a sale to the customer they would ask them if they would like the Kirby they were shown or a new one. But I found out they the new ones they were talking about were actually used in other demonstrations but were just wiped down with windex, and they would remove the hair, pet hair, carpet fibers from the brush to make it look like new.

When I saw what they were doing i was so upset. I could not beleave what they were doing and they didn't care when I told them what they are doing is wrong. I quit the following day. I feel sorry for all those people who spent anywhere from $1800 to $2400 and thought that they were getting brand new machines, but in all reality they were used just cleaned a little.

These people take pride in what they are doing thinking that its not wrong. I just couldn't beleave it it made me so upset i confronted the guy who trained me and i told him he was a liar and a fraud. I asked him how he could take pride in his work when he takes pride in lying to peoples faces like me. I was furious when he said he never lied and I walked out got into my car and left.

All I want is to let the consumers know THINK twice before you let a Kirby salesmen in your home for a "1 room shampoo at no charge." Once you let them in they will pressure you into buying a kirby and will make you feel awkward if you tell them no. Which they don't listen to you when you say No. they just keep asking.
