I had a reading with Ask Fran and Arradaza yesterday.  I believe they are sharing information.  Both were rude to me and one even blocked me.

First, Ask Fran asked for A LOT of personal information.  She wanted to know my name and birthdate ( pretty standard), but she also wanted to know specfically WHERE I lived!  I was in a vulernerable state and reluctantly gave her the information.  A simple google search with this information will tell you enough about me that she can feed it back to me and pretend she is a psychic.  I told her my situation, and she BARELY answered my questions.  She had to be prompted multiple times.  A lot of what she said was a rant about how online dating it awful and most people who are on online dating websites are scum.  I find this ironic coming from a woman who makes money making money through an online website.

The worst experience was with Arradaza.  The reason I think she shares information with Ask Fran is because she IMMEDIATELY asked if the guy in question was someone I met online or in real life.  It just seemed like a strange question to ask right out the gate.  Anyway, we had the reading and I felt like she did not connect well with me.  Again, I'm nearly 30 and I was given this "lecture" again about how online dating is not a valuable tool.  Funny thing is, if they were really psychic, they would know I met my last serious boyfriend of 4 years through an online dating website.  If they did any amount of research they would know that online dating is exponentially becoming more common and less stigmatized.

Anyway, I left some critical feedback for both "advisors."  Arradaza decided she wanted to get the last word in and sent me a rude message saying I'm not a good listener and only left feedback that reflected what I wanted to hear.  ....Umm, no Arradaza.  I left feedback based on the fact that you said I need to "stop this online dating stuff."  I attempted to send her a message back, but she blocked me.   She can dish it, but she can't take it.

If you leave critical feedback for these so called psychics, they have NO IDEA how to do good customer service.  Here is some free advice to all you "advisors" who think the best thing to do is to leave rude messages when you get critical feedback:

1. You will not please all of the people all of the time.  You will get critical feedback.

2. Failure to take in that critical feedback is really doing yourself a diservice to and a disservcie to your potential customers.

3. Writing a message when someone leaves critical feedback is understandable, but saying things such as "I'm sorry you failed to listen" does not mean anything.  An apology should reflect your own actions in the situation, otherwise it comes off as insencere.

4. Here is an example of a good way to send a message after receving critical feedback.

" Hello, [customer].  I am sorry to hear you did not have a positive exprience with me.  It sounds like I may have not been able to clearly communicate the message I wanted to leave you with.  I would like the chance to speak with you again to clarify some things.  Here are some free minutes."

- in the above example, the advisor recognizes the customer's frustration, and owns it.  She then offers to rectify it.  Try this, instead of that crap e-mail you sent me and then blocked me Arradaza!
