Keith Wainwright, the Yanmar Ag Division Manager – a Racist who fashions himself a “Good Ol Boy” – Bad place to work. Yanmar used to be a great company to work for until they hired this idiot Keith Wainwright in the Ag Division. Like most of the good and smart people there, leave at the first good job you can get away from Keith Wainwright and Yanmar. There were some really nice people that worked there but got tired of Keith Wainwright humiliating them. Besides making a lot of racist comments towards African-Americans, Keith Wainwright talks to everyone, most especially women, like we are all stupid and useless. Good talent is all but ignored - well that's unless you are a woman who smiles and permits Keith Wainwright to stare at your body parts like a creep - he is so sleezy. In reality, Keith Wainwright can't even manage his own day-to-day tasks and spends most of the time telling everyone how great he is.
It is difficult dealing with the constant frustration that results from Keith Wainwrights arrogance. Generally he is a “I’m the smartest person in any room” guy who doesn’t know much and hides from anything that involves decisions or conflict. What is too bad is that Yanmar had a pretty good product, but Keith Wainwright has run Yanmar Tractors Ag Division into the ground. Sales people are not respected and company has zero respect for their customers or dealer network. I would not recommend working for them, unless you are desperate. Employees cant stand him and customers say privately they hate him. The CEO of Yanmar Tim Fernandez just ignores it because they are buddies.
Stay away from Yanmar and Keith Wainwright. No job or anything else is worth that…
