Ken Kant also known as Ken Kantner came to my door saying he was selling books to pay tuition. Asked if I had school age children or grandchildren.
He said had a back to school special for grandchildren. I purchased 2 books for $55.00
It was obvious I was moving in to new place as boxes were all over front lawn. He said could accept an out of state check but that it would really create a hardship as he had to deposit in his account and send in one of his checks.
He actually gave me a receipt and said he lived a few doors down on my new street and a phone number. The address does not excist in my street and the telephone does not work.
I gave him cash and the telephone number he gave me is 512-366-7214
