Kensington Assistance Agency - Kensington Consulting grant ripoff New York New York

I received a green postal card in the mail claiming that I have been identified as a possible recipient of a government grant of at least $5,000.00

As a struggling independent contractor (in business for myself), the ad sounded great. After completing a 30 minute prequalifying phone call was told I was eligible for no less that a FREE $5,000.00 Government grant. It all sounded TOO good to be true.

After giving them (Kensington Consulting/Kensington Assistance Agency)my bank account and routing number, I was advised that I would be electronically debited the amount of $299.97 After four (4) days, I started to have "buyer's remorse" so I called their customer service number (866-314-3912) and gave the gentleman my verification number and asked not to be debited the amount of $299.97 I was told it was too late, and the process could not be reversed.

What I should have done BEFORE calling this rip-off outfit, was Google the firm... boy I wish I had done that. My next phone call was to the Claims Dept. of my bank and explained the situation to them.

My bank was very understanding and has insured me that the Claims Dept. will fight them on my behalf, and my chances of getting my $299.97 are very good!!

I wish I knew of your web-site BEFORE getting involved with these rip-off artists.

I forwarn everyone... stay far, far away from Kensington Consulting/Kensington Assistance Agency. They are no good!!! No matter how good the offer sounds... it's a big rip-off and I wish the City of New York could shut them down immediately.

Don't make the same mistake(s) I did.
