I was contacted by a person who said they were a law firm and informed me that I was about to be sued for a payday loan that I did not take out. The gentleman I spoke with called himself Mr. Alex Cooper from 916-458-5665 and asked me did I have a lawyer, and proceeded to tell me that I would be arrested for the following; 1. violation of federal standards, 2. collector fraud, and 3. Bad check writing. I called my bank and there is no record of bad checks or fraudulent use regarding my bank account. I have very angry about this.
